Thank you so much for your care and service. This was our first experience with filing a claim, and unfortunately, it was when our pup passes away. The process was very easy and communication was also very easy. What impressed me the most was after the claim was processed, two months of coverage cost was also credited. Quick and easy

Poppy received his semi-annual booster shots, a fecal exam, and a renewal of his Heartgard and Nexgard script on October 1. Process to file claim was quick and easy. Payment was in my account within two weeks. Poppy is a healthy pup!

Honest and responsive company

I have had my cocker covered since Nov 2014 with Pets Best. Customer service on the phone is excellent and reimbursements are accurate. The turnaround time on sending direct deposits has lengthened about four days. Explanation being-many new clients. The one negative is the 50 % increase in premium for the upcoming renewal in November. I was expecting a 30 % increase and find 50 % too high. And that is with 70% reimbursement. Overall, a solid insurer, superior to VPI which covered my first five rescues. So, recommended!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
