Worst exprience in processing claims

Delays, excuses, more delays...this is not what I expected. Pet Best takes 45-60 or longer to process claims. Even with pet records and receipts.

Easy Claim, Easy Reimbursement

Really great, easy to use pet insurance. Just snap some pics of your itemized receipt and proof of payment. The claim was finalized and each item on the receipt had an explanation within a few days. The reimbursement via direct deposit was also done in only a few days!

Thank you for helping our family

With all the support of Pets Best Insurance we were able to provide our Shih Tzu with the medical attention she needed. In 2017 she was diagnosed a diabetic (critical at that time) and with our insurance we we’re able to provide her that attention. Today she is living a comfortable life in spite of losing her eye sight and most of her hearing; she has a lot of love to give and has adjusted to her condition beyond our expectations ❤️

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
