This was the first time we have ever needed the service.

This was the first time we have ever needed to use health insurance for our cats. We had an emergency visit to the vet as one of our cats ate some string out of the garbage and it tied up his intestines. Having insurance saved his life, we could not afford the surgery without it. The whole process was simple and fast. When I had questions and called, they were nice and helpful. We have since got a new garbage can with a lid that he can't open.

Great insurance and customer service

Great insurance and customer service. My only complaint and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is because they don't cover homeopathic treatments. They do cover unlimited acupuncture however.

Everything is Great

While I’m coming up on my 1yr Anniversary from signing up and up till now everything has been great! I only did just meet my deductible 2months ago, and both reimbursements have gone very smoothly and quick. I tell people all the time that I am very happy with u guys

Pets Best Pet Health Insurance

Pets Best Pet Health Insurance has been great for as long as I have been with them. They are mostly very quick in getting the claims handled, and if not able to process for whatever reason, they let you know right away so you are aware! Never had any issues with them in any way. Always thorough explanations and a good understanding of what is happening. I think I have been with them for over 10 years and have always been completely satisfied with their service.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
