Pets Best Insurance provides top notch service and has a great follow through to all that they promise. They are by the book and they cover what they say they will cover and do not cover what is "uncovered". Overall, I have had a great experience and have referred many people to Pets Best. I’ve had two claims so far. One took one day to process; the other took almost two weeks. That’s quite a difference. Also, you have a single reimbursement value for vaccinations. With a puppy, that value is minute when compared to the initial series of vaccinations required. There ought to be a one-time higher reimbursement value for puppy vaccinations. Customer service reps are very nice and very knowledgeable.

Very happy so far!

I've only had one claim so far, but the customer service has been wonderful and my claim was paid in a timely manner. I would recommend Pet's Best Insurance to anyone.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
