Excellent pet insurance!

Pet's Best Simply the Best!

It was very easy to file my claim. When I filed, I was told it could be up to 30 days to process and I had my reimbursement in about 2 weeks.The explanation of benefits was super clear and I was paid the correct amount. Signing up for direct deposit into my checking account took 2 minutes. I highly recommend Pet's Best!

It is so easy to submit a claim

It is so easy to submit a claim. I just upload the invoice and give a brief description of the service provided. Within a few days, Pets Best sends me an invoice explaining what part of the bill has been reimbursed and why. I have been really happy with their customer service.

Processed quickly

I got an email notification that the claims processing was running behind, but I didn't notice it being slower than any other type of insurance. I was reimbursed just a couple days later.

Extremely helpful and courteous

I have been using Pets Best for many years. Not only have they always been quick to process claims, but anytime I have had to contact them, they were extremely helpful and courteous!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
