Smooth processing

Claims are processed swiftly and customer service is professional and helpful. My most recent claim for my pup's ACL surgery was processed and paid within 3 weeks of the surgery. Bills are sent through Pet Bests app and they contact doctors for detailed info.

Quick payout

Our small Miniature Schnauzer was severely injured in a pit bull attack, but thanks to the insurance's quick reimbursement process, we were able to provide her with the necessary medical treatment without worrying about the cost. As a result, we were able to welcome our little family member back home in good health once again. She was hospitalized in two different hospitals for about two weeks, and the medical expenses for the hospital she was admitted to later were reimbursed first. I believe that the speed of insurance payments significantly depends on the responsiveness of the hospitals.

Best coverage for the lowest cost

Pets Best has been amazing. Easy to submit claims, whenever i have submitted a claim they always reimburse me exactly what my policy entitles me to, never an issue with payout. The coverage inls comprehensive and the policy preimums is cheaper than any other company i checked before deciding on pets best. I will never use a different company.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
