Help when you need it

Our new little girl went through her female surgery lately plus had a chip put in, just in case. Everything cost basically $300.00. We liked the idea that we would have help with any future visits for the rest of the year for next to nothing. It feels good to have help when you are trying to do only the best for those you love and cherish so much.

My baby girl was very sick

Recently my 2 year Old chihuahua became sick with diarrhea vomiting drooling. Took her to the vets they treated her as best they could when we got home the diarrhea turn to blood. And she a so started also the having foam at her mouth from so much mucus .. As well as a lot of straight blood. After about 15 times she just looked so much worse, I took her to the er they said she was dehydrated, and needed medicines as well. I had to leave her overnight. She had something called hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Which can be deadly in dogs. Thankfully I have insurance and didn't have to worry. Thanks nationwide

Healthy Puppy = Happy Family

Since getting insurance for our puppy Nunu, we have been very happy knowing that taking her to the vet does not mean we will have to worry about the cost. Nationwide has a user friendly website, friendly customer service, it is easy to submit forms and the turn around is fast! We are very happy with Nationwide.

The Best

I did my fair share of research regarding health insurance plans as I have three dogs and really wanted to make sure they were covered in case something ever happened. Nationwide is the absolute best. Not only do they cover many things that other pet insurance companies don't (such as preventatives like NexGuard and HeartGuard and not just if the pet gets ill), but they actually cover prior existing conditions, if that condition does not occur for 6 months straight from the start of your insurance plan. Their customer service is great as every representative I have ever dealt with always takes their time to explain anything I may have questions about. SOMETIMES they take a bit long to process a claim, but it gets done. I am really happy with Nationwide and have referred them to many friends who have pets and are looking for an insurance company that they feel comfortable with =)

Everything was handled professionally.

My wife and I are retired and in our seventies. This policy saved our baby's life. This is a five star program and we highly recommend it to all pet owners.

Monthly Cost

Policies start at approximately $12 per month.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
