Wise Investment in Pet Protection

After investing the money in the purchase and training of Miki and Taka (Akitas) I wanted to know that they had the best of health coverage for basic needs and any complications that might arise. Miki just had a fractured tooth removed and the claim process was very easy and the reimbursement was very prompt.

Excellent Product!

Nationwide was there for us when my sweet little Perseus had to have an alar fold resection and a soft palate resection in order to help him breathe. He also had a small umbilical hernia repair at the same time. Nationwide made it possible for me to not worry about the financial aspect of the surgery and allowed me to focus on my little Perseus as he recovered.

Very pleased with Nationwide

We have had Nationwide since we adopted our kitten, he is now almost 2. In that time we have had to submit a couple of claims. Each claim was quickly processed and we were reimbursed exactly as our policy documents indicated. There were no unpleasant surprises in terms of the amount we were reimbursed or what was covered. Additionally, we have used the 24/7 vet helpline and were very pleased with that as well. Highly recommended.

Walter

After dealing with a pretty severe Pancreatitis with my older dog, when I got Walter I decided that he needed to be insured, because for Tank the bills just kept coming. I love the Whole Pet with Wellness as it covers the routine stuff, for only a bit more a month than plans that only cover illness/injury. When it was decided over the summer Walter needed surgery to remove a leaking salivary gland, I knew I had made the right choice. After surgery I submitted my claim and within a few days I had the check from Nationwide. I am looking forward to continuing to work with this company!

Exceptional service and highly recommended!!!

Customer service representatives are always responsive and helpful. Nationwide has paid out all of my puppy's claims, thus far, very quickly. I would say this is an exceptional product that all new dog owners should get, without a doubt. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with you by side. Thank you, Nationwide!!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
