Why wouldn't you insure your pet??

Having pet insurance is piece of mind guarantee. It's so important to have, especially when you are raising a puppy - they eat EVERYTHING - and we have made several late night trips to the vet!

Quick processing of claims

I can't believe how easy it is to file a claim from my smartphone app. The processing time is amazingly quick, and i like that you can go online and check status of the claim! Thank you so much!

We'd still get our dog treated. Wish it was clear that there is an annual cutoff per disease.

Generally pleased with the processing of our paperwork. Prompt and efficient. Lack of clarity on coverage for an individual disease could be improved.

Best coverage, reasonable cost, claim turn around time is excellent

I researched over half a dozen plans before insuring my new puppy. I have made a couple of claims already for well-puppy check and an injury. The claim submission process can be completed online or by mail, I chose online. The claim was handled expeditiously. I have recommended Nationwide insurance to a couple of new puppy parents.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is Chicken Soup for Puppy-Moms.

Having insurance for our monster (2-yr old puppy in disguise) is one of the most comforting aspects of my complicated life. I don't have to think twice if she swallows a stick, twists her leg chasing Alice down the rabbit hole, or just seems listless. There's no need to analyze the budget, no debating about having something checked out. In 2 years, Nationwide has come through every time. Not payment in full but a close second, and enough to keep Ms. Doobs as safe and healthy as possible. Yeah!

Monthly Cost

Policies start at approximately $12 per month.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
