Best investment we could imagine!

Nationwide is the best investment in your pet's care I could imagine. I know firsthand, given that our English Bulldog puppy had a very expensive first six months of life and her vet bills totaled about $15,000. Nationwide's Whole Pet Insurance paid for 90% of all medical claims with a $250 deductible and truly saved her life. For a small monthly premium, you can give your pet a lifetime of health security. Not only that, after the very costly first year of care, Nationwide didn't raise our rates. I cannot recommend them more highly in terms of the expansive nature of the coverage their policy provides, in addition to the very caring individuals at the company with whom I've interacted. If only humans had this level of health care coverage!

Nationwide's pet coverage has been excellent.

We purchased our policy for Reign when he was a puppy. We've had a few medical issues along the way and recently had him neutered at 1 year of age. All of out claims have been paid promptly and without any hassles. We are very happy with Nationwide and have recommended it to 2 other friends so far!

Exactly what I expected

I purchased the insurance with wellness through my employer benefits after getting numerous quotes from other companies. I am satisfied with the coverage so far- it is exactly what I expected and has paid claims just as policy notes.

A necessity when you get a puppy!

I registered my new puppy Molly with Nationwide as soon as I got her, because well... puppies get into things they shouldn't. I chose the wellness program to also cover her inoculations, microchip, and spay. The lab in her eats anything and everything, and the shepherd in her is too stubborn to spit it out on command. I have forced her mouth open and cleared out rocks, a broken paperclip, 3" nail!, 2 feet of nylon string, various chunks of broken plastic - you don't realize how much garbage is on the ground until you have a puppy. I wasn't quick enough once though and she swallowed a large rubber dog bootie, like a 4" thick rubber balloon, resulting in a trip to emergency. Having pet insurance gives me the peace of mind to know that for a set amount each month she will get the necessary care for any future puppy mishaps.
