A necessity when you get a puppy!

I registered my new puppy Molly with Nationwide as soon as I got her, because well... puppies get into things they shouldn't. I chose the wellness program to also cover her inoculations, microchip, and spay. The lab in her eats anything and everything, and the shepherd in her is too stubborn to spit it out on command. I have forced her mouth open and cleared out rocks, a broken paperclip, 3" nail!, 2 feet of nylon string, various chunks of broken plastic - you don't realize how much garbage is on the ground until you have a puppy. I wasn't quick enough once though and she swallowed a large rubber dog bootie, like a 4" thick rubber balloon, resulting in a trip to emergency. Having pet insurance gives me the peace of mind to know that for a set amount each month she will get the necessary care for any future puppy mishaps.

Outstanding service

Gunner, our golden rescue, has had lots of issues in the past. The one we were not prepared for was his desire to ingest his anti anxiety pills along with the pill pockets. What a nightmare. When we realized we could not locate pills or pockets or plastic bag they were in, we figured Gunner ate them. So had a trip to emergency room. Thankfully, the only thing we were concerned with was his recovery and not the expense, as we knew we had good insurance. Yes, we were pleased with the response of the company and the resulting reimbursement. We would not go without insurance EVER!

Awesome to have peace of mind

So happy to be able to say I’ve done the best for my pets with their healthcare needs. The claims were super easy to file and the reimbursement was unbelievable fast. It’s a pleasure to say that Nationwide did exactly what they said they would do with no game playing. I recently got another dog and she is now too covered!

Nationwide is truly on your side

My Merlin has had a difficult 12 months. First he had a bowel obstruction and had to have surgery to remove a hairball. Recently he has been seen for a blocked bladder and has been back to the vet a few times this month. It's been a very stressful time for both myself and Merlin. However, knowing I have Nationwide has taken some of the stress away as I'm able to provide Merlin with the best care. Keeping my fingers crossed that Merlin is "over the hump" with his illness.
