If only our human health insurance was so easy and straightforward!

We have had Nationwide for our dog since she we brought her home, and it has been wonderful. We have primarily used the preventive coverage, but she also got emergently sick once, and Nationwide covered per our policy without problems or delays. Any requests for additional information were understandable and reasonable. I only wish all of our insurance policies were as simple to understand and provided such timely coverage!

So glad that I have Nationwide!

I have so enjoyed having Nationwide Pet Insurance. When I was in need for help with my dog, the VetHelpline was there. Gave great advice. Have never had an issue with a claim. Claims are processed reasonably quickly. No complaints.

You can't have three dogs and NOT have insurance.

I went from never having pets, to having a cat and then a dog. One dog. But he died and what did I do? I got three more dogs; two Cocker Spaniels and a Jack Russell, Chihuahua mix. One day when they were puppies and I was at the vet getting puppy shots, I saw a lady hand an insurance card to the staff. I never knew anything like that ever existed, but since it did and I have three now and we all know what vet bills look like, I got the info from the vet, then went home and signed up. It has been 3 years now and I have never regretted my decision to insure my pack, nor have I felt a need to check into other insurance companies. NATIONWIDE IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!Signed, Proud Mom of three.

Comprehensive Coverage Worth the Cost

I have had Nationwide Pet Insurance for about 2 years now for each of my two cats. I got Whole Pet Wellness Plans after one of my cats contracted a kidney infection which end up costing me over $1000. Since then, I have been very satisfied with the service. My Whole Pet Wellness Plans each have a $250 annual deductible and then a 10% copay once the deductible is met. This is wonderful; the plan covers nearly EVERY medical issue my girls may face as well as wellness visits and dental cleanings. It has absolutely been worth it. One annual check up nearly maxes out the deductible, and then I can take them in for a dental cleaning and get treatment for any surprise issues without breaking the bank. This year one of my cats had a check up, a dental cleaning with anesthesia, a tooth extraction, AND several visits to treat an abscess on her back end. In total her treatments cost me just over $400 including the deductible and copay; that is only about 20% of the actual total cost. In addition, Nationwide recently started taking scanned copies of claims forms via e-mail, which has greatly reduced the wait time for refunds. Overall, Nationwide's service has been immensely helpful and given me great piece of mind. I like to tell folks that my cats have cheaper and more comprehensive health insurance than I do!
