Great Company to work with!

Both of my doxies had to have mouth surgery and teeth extracted. It was a very costly procedure. I felt confident knowing my insurance would reimburse me for some of the cost. It's very easy to file a claim. My payment was received in a very timely manner.

I'm disgusted at Nationwide's annual coverage

I'm disgusted that Nationwide's annual coverage only covers 1 monthly veterinary invoice for Cushing's. I have bought annual veterinary coverage through Nationwide (formerly VPI) for each of my 2 pets for the last 12 years. My dog was diagnosed with Cushing's disease at age 11 and since then, I receive veterinary bills of $300-500+ every other month. However Nationwide will only reimburse a total of $385 per year for Cushing's. Why am I bothering to get pet insurance???

Great service.

My dog had emergency back surgery. The customer service department gave me complete information on what they would need from the doctor when I filed the claim. Payment was made in weeks, despite the 37 page claim.

Great investment

We were skeptical about insurance at first, but with a golden puppy who was into everything we decided to go with the highest plan they offered, thinking we would lower it after he was done with his first year of appointments. THANK GOODNESS WE DID. Our pup ended up with water diabetes, a disease that is easily treatable with eye drop hormones that run you about $70 for 5oz. He will be getting these eyedrops twice a day for the rest of his life. The expenses incurred to diagnose him, treat him, in addition to his regular monthly expenses would have seemed impossible. Receiving 90% back on each of his vet visits has been amazing. We have always provided appropriate documentation, and have yet to be denied. I would recommend to anyone!
