Great policy.

Princess has had a lot of trouble with kidney stones. Has been on special food and her insurance policy has done a great job. I have very little out of pocket expense.

So Far, So Good! So Happy We Have This Policy

I encourage anyone with a pet they love and want to get the best care for to take out this “Wellness Plan” as soon as you get a pup. They’ve been very responsive and reimbursed without a hassle every claim with the exception of one at the beginning. I’m so glad I don’t have to worry about if I can afford Milly’s wellness care, much leads emergencies. I recommend this plan and company.

Not paying for prescribed food that is stated in policy as covered

I have only had this insurance for 2 months. I bought the most expensive plan that covers wellness. They are taking months to get rid of an exclusion of lacerations for my young dog because he had a small wound on his face that I declared. It was healed in 1 week-vet did not even suture just used glue to close. I sent them all the vet records they wanted and still no response except to say they need more time to review. The vets are amazed and certainly will not be recommending Nationwide. The older dog was put on a special diet for weight loss and even though the policy states prescription food is covered they are not paying -again claiming they need more time to review the vet records. Record I can read in minutes takes them months! As far as I am concerned this is fraud-refusing to pay for items stated in the policy. Another blood test they have not paid for was 1 of the reasons I purchased the expensive insurance-the agent told me this would be covered under that policy and now they need months to review. I paid for these things assuming they would be paid and now I am stuck owing it. I am considering not paying my premium and just canceling and finding a more honest company!
