Nationwide Pet Ins. enables us to provide our Westy with the Best Care Possible.

Owning a Westy is a wonderful experience. They are so full of life and love. That said, they are also a challenge because they are prone to skin infections and food allergies. They also will eat and chew just about anything they find. Having Nationwide Pet Ins. has enabled us to afford the many trips to our Great Veternarian for proper care. Our claims are always paid in a timely manner and usually for the full amount allowed under the coverages in our policy. Thank You Nationwide for keeping our Westy healthy.

Reimbursements are helpful but processing time takes too long.

We are happy with being able to get some reimbursement with our dogs vet bills. But, I do feel taking 30 days from the time it is received and some times longer is a bit much. I do appreciate the ability to make monthly payments because some times we just don't have enough to pay for a year at a time. I do feel you need to speed up your process for processing claims.

Sad and Extremely Disappointed

I was shocked at the uncaring and unprofessional process of receiving claims. I have been a member since 2000 and have had a number of issues with very low amounts provided to me for different claims. I have called and spoken with supervisors but this last one was so heartbreaking I do not even want to put myself through this stress. My dog was hospitalized, had tests and x-rays along with IV fluids then without any change in his condition, had to be euthanized. The amount of my claim was $1,200 and they had the nerve to process the claim for a mere $145. I am disgusted with this company and if there are animals in my future, you can be sure I will never use this company again and I will let everyone know in the large dog community I belong to on social media, just how bad they really are. Judging from the reviews I have seen, I know I am not the only one that feels this way. Hopefully they will be out of the business soon so they cannot rip others off as they have done to me.
