Awesome customer service

I have only had a policy for my son's pet Cane Corso for a few months, but I am completely satisfied with the service i have received thus far. The pre-filled claim forms are convenient and the processing time for claims is quick.

Best Investment

I am so thankful I purchased Nationwide Pet Insurance for my dog. I have had several dogs in the past and I have never let money stop me from having them treated. But at times it was very expensive and other things had to be sacrificed. When I adopted my current dog I asked my vets office about insurance. They recommend Nationwide. I still compared them to other pet insurance companies but Nationwide seemed the best. I have been extremely happy with them. They pay the claims quickly and it’s easy to file a claim. I will never have another pet without Nationwide insuring them.

Without Nationwide we wouldn't have been able to offer treatment for our dog.

Our young dog (9 months) was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia on both sides. The only remedy for it was bilateral hip replacements. We were told that once the surgery and healing were complete, our dog would be 100% but the process would be very costly. I immediately called Nationwide assuming to hear that this was something that wasn't covered by our plan but to our delight it was. It's now seven months later, our dog is about 90% and getting stronger every day. I tell everyone about our story and how important it is to get insurance for your pet if you can afford it. What we learned is that we couldn't have afforded not having it. Thanks, Nationwide!

Happy so far

Several years ago I had insured 3 dogs with another insurance company and was paying a lot every month. When one of the dogs began to limp with no visible reason I took him to the vet who also saw nothing visible so he too an x-ray. Because the x-ray also showed nothing, that insurance company denied the claim for the cost of the x-ray. So if a test turns out negative, you don't have to pay for it? Wish my human insurance worked like that. Needless to say I dropped that insurance and have done without for many years. Recently I decided to try again based on a recommendation from a friend. So glad that I did. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount received on a claim as I fully expected them to deny much of it. Will be sticking with them for a while.
