Very Pleased

I can not say enough positive things about MetLife pet insurance. I did a lot of researching before purchasing insurance for my kitten. We had a pretty significant injury shortly after insurance kicked in (apparently no waiting period for emergencies). It took awhile to get approved but it was well over $1000, so I understand why it took longer to process. I wasn’t even sure it would be approved but was hoping for the best. It was approved…. Phew! We went for a kitty well visit Thursday PM and the claim was processed and approved Sat AM. So what’s not to like? They process claims quickly, customer service was top notch when I did have a question, plenty of options when choosing a plan and found it to be very decent coverage at a very decent price.

Worst service ever

Met Life wired my $560 reimbursement to the wrong bank account (it went to someone else no idea who they are) and now refuses to contact the bank to ask to help getting the funds back. They maintain I need to do this but since I am not the one who issued the payment the bank won’t do anything unless MetLife initiates this. No solution offered only deflecting responsibility when all that is being asked from them is to contact the bank. Never had such terrible service. Had to cancel my insurance with them.

Thank God for MetLife

We've had 2 claims this year for our fur baby and both were for surgeries with significant costs incurred. Having the insurance helped greatly in covering those costs and we cannot recommend MetLife highly enough. The claims were handled promptly and efficiently and the process stress free. Thank you MetLife!

VETERINARIAN: MedVet Northern Virginia

Thoroughly pleased

Our fur baby needed knee surgery and our local vet referred us to MedVet of Northern Virginia in Manassas - the best referral we've ever received. The surgery was a success, our girl is recovering extremely well and we continue to be amazed at the level of care and involvement exhibited by the entire staff to us. The true testament to the treatment and service comes from Lilliah herself - she hates going to the vet. And I mean HATES, as in crying and full blown temper tantrums. Except for MedVet. She goes in with tail wagging and just about stands on her head to get Dr. Coisman's attention the entire time he's performing the follow-up exams and taking to us about her progress. Her behavior alone is the greatest referral. Thank you MedVet!

Metlife pet insurance is a joke!

They are nothing but con artists and liars. They take your money, promise refunds you'll never see, and deny your claim for obviously false reasons. My baby fell from a cat tree and they denied my injury claim stating I had no illness coverage at the time of the incident! Like um, hello, you just said your denying my INJURY claim because I don't have illness coverage? Well, probably cause it wasn't an illness, it was an INJURY! I've seriously considered taking legal action against them due to the fact I've sent numerous emails with no response. They are purposely ignoring me. Smells like a bad faith lawsuit in the works
