Awesome!

I am surprised that others have rated MetLife poorly. I have not had any issues with them. I know that in order to get my money back after making a claim, I need to submit all of the necessary paperwork, including the SOAP notes from the vet. Once I submit my paperwork, I normally receive my money within 10 business days. I think MetLife is awesome!

MetLife Pet Insurance is the Best

Hello, We've had to use MetLife for a few injuries or illnesses for two of our fur-people kids. One had knee surgery that cost several thousand out-of-pocket. MetLife covered the procedure and paid-out in a matter of a few weeks. The online process is straightforward and their Customer Service is superlative. Thank You!

The BEST pet insurance company!

I am baffled at the two previous one star reviews. Every pet insurance company has a 14-day waiting policy that is mentioned multiple times all over the webpage. And as long as you submit the correct information (which is detailed on the submission page), the reimbursement process is quick and efficient. The fact that MetLife allows for a family of pets to share a deductible is incredibly helpful, and the company also reimburses for the full vet bill, unlike other companies that give you set prices, such as $25 for a diagnostic fee. You will not be disappointed with this service! I’m a human RN, with 2 cats and a puppy, and I’ve never seen an insurance company be so efficient without any hassle!

Good insurance

I’ve had good experiences with MetLife Pet ins. It’s easy to submit a claim and I always hear back within a few days. Their price is good also compared to what I was paying with a different company

Very pleased with Metlife claim processing

They do require quite a bit of paperwork from the vet, but it was worth it to me in the processing of paperwork for a back problem my Dachshund, Wally, had which lasted almost a month - but he is now all well, thanks to meds and advice from my vet. My policy has a zero deductible with a 90% reimbursement if the claim is approved. Wally's claim WAS approved, and I received 90% of what all I paid to my vet. It appeared in my on line bank statement this morning, so I would recommend Metlife.
