Peanut's Care

I can not say enough of Metlife. They have always been there for my pet (unfortunately my baby passed away). I'm so sad.😔 Their staff members were always helpful. Reimbursement claims were taken care of in a timely manner. If I didn't have Metlife, I don't think I would have been able to obtain the care my baby needed. When, or if, we get another pet, I will definitely be reaching out to MetLife. Note, they even provided me with a Pet Grief group. Thank you, Metlife!

Long wait time for reimbursement

This company takes SO LONG to reimburse claims. If your vet’s notes are not written in a dummy proof way where each element of the SOAP (subjective, objective, assessment, plan) is listed implicitly the claim review team can’t seem to figure it out. I am waiting on about $2000 worth of reimbursement and have been for 3 weeks. I have resubmitted notes as requested and have gotten zero progress on my claim. They won’t even pay out if you go to your primary vet for a new issue. Only seem to pay out for specialists if you have the accident and emergency plan like I do. And I pay $156 a month for the pleasure of this frustration.

Denied my claims

My main coon broke her femur, I submitted claims because she needed to have surgery and metlife denied my claim. They claim that the doctor notes stated it was a pre existing condition. I reached out to my vet and they reviewd the notes with me and it doesn't say once in the notes that it was a pre existing condition. Definatly think twice before choosing this company. They lost my buisness indefinitely.

Efficient

I called and used the app. My claim was processed efficiently and Met Life communicated via email and I was easily able to see my claim status in the app. When I called the customer service rep was friendly, professional and helpful. Can’t ask for more than that
