Highly recommend!

We purchased this policy last year when we adopted our puppy. It is easily the best decision we made for her. The policy is easy to understand, the claim forms are straightforward (altho it helps that our vet submits on our behalf), and the claims are paid quickly. The policy has easily paid for itself in the last year. I researched other companies and the pricing was competitive, but MetLife's deductible was lower than everyone else's and their coverage was better. Highly recommend!

Positive experience

During the past 10 years of working with Pet-First (now MetLife), I have had good service for my pets (3 West Highland Terriers). I find their customer service team especially helpful. Please keep up the good work and don't fall into such cost savings for your organization that you go the way of many healthcare (pet and human) companies today. Worst experience

Worst experience, adopted pet with MetLife pet insurance, dog got sick after 24hours, MetLife refused coverage saying it was a "pre-existing condition". Called shelter to let them know they should stop using MetLife, they couldn't believe they considered it pre-existing. Horrible customer service.

Great Insurance
