I did a compare with several companies for insurance for my new kitten. These guys had the best rate for 100% coverage, $250 deductible... hope its good if we ever need to use it!
Several years ago I spent a hefty sum to try and save my ailing cat. When I got my new dog, I decided to get pet insurance to prevent that from happening again. From the time I started my policy ManyPets and its staff has been nothing but helpful. I accidentally mistyped my dog's weight and, though the technical side of the change was less than easy, the conversation with customer support was quick and efficient. When I noticed what I believed a mistake on my bill, they offered a prompt and polite clarification. When it came time for my first claim on my policy, the response was equally prompt and the check was in the mail within three days of submission. I would absolutely recommend ManyPets to any pet owners concerned about potential unexpected costs.
Honestly, only time will tell how good ManyPets is or does perform. As of now, after looking at several of the pet insurance options available I feel I chose one in the middle. Some other companies gave the impression that claims would have been easier to process with them. Some companies I feel expressed the likelyhood of not having to worry on my end if a claim will be covered (falling more in the 'will cover all expenses related to non routine care'.) After getting the full declaration pages from ManyPets (after signing up and paying) I have a firm feeling this one may be very middle of the road.
On the plus side, this one didn't appear to offer a gimmick to get me to sign up. No amazon card, no wellness rewards points.
On the down side, after reading the declaration pages, it feels they could wiggle their way out of paying claims by saying I didn't take good enough routine care of my dog.
So again, only time will tell. At this point, they are strictly average - right there with everybody else.
