Your policy is design to take your money. For any little rule u people put on contract for no claim. And then we have to run around to get records from the past because u people r all parrinod . And just what reason not to pay a claim and then if by some chance u get a claim u still get ripped off from deductions thats Thats animal abuse in my book u people don't give a "'*-_- about our pets u just what to suck the money out of us poor people that love there dogs
UPDATE: After a year they removed the option for 100% reimbursement. Now they’re just like any other average pet insurance company. I won’t be sticking around once my second cat’s plan expires. My experience so far with ManyPets has been amazing. I did a LOT of research when selecting pet insurance for my kitten and ultimately chose ManyPets over competitors like Lemonade and Embrace. The monthly premium is extremely affordable considering I’m getting 100% coverage and only a $250 deductible. The coverage itself is also great, and their base plan covers more than most providers. I also love that ManyPets will waive the waiting period if you switch to them from a different provider. My first claims were a breeze to process and I received my reimbursement within ONE (1) week!
It sounds like they paid me to rave so much lol, but I swear they didn’t. ManyPets really is just great and deserving of more recognition. I really am pleased so far with their coverage for my baby cat.
Ordering ManyPets Insurance was fast, easy and very affordable.
Website was very user friendly. replies were quick. I look forward to being with ManyPets for years to come.
After much research, I chose ManyPets as the insurance provider for my two cats, happy to have found a policy that covers older cats. My older cat hadn't been to the vet in over a year as she hasn't had any issues. She doesn't travel well so I spared her the trauma of being in the car. When I recently noticed blood in her stool I was really worried that it would be a serious issue so I brought her to the vet. It turned out to be nothing thankfully so I submitted the small claim with confidence that it would be paid out. Boy was I wrong. Unlike the many reviews about a quick turnaround, I waited 11 days for a response. The email from ManyPets states that claims take 22 days currently. They denied the claim on the premise that it’s a preexisting condition because my vet stated she had the issue for about a month, therefore prior to the policy start. In reality, she had soft stool for a time that I guesstimated to a month, not blood in the stool which happened right before I brought her in. As any pet owner knows, cats can have soft stools over the years which resolve on their own and can be caused by many reasons, none of which constitutes a “condition.” Soft stool is not a diagnosis. ManyPets has added this “condition” to her chart therefore she can’t be covered for any kind of soft stool in the future unless she never has it again for the next 18 months. Again this is nearly impossible for a cat eating off-the-shelf cat food that can cause diarrhea due to poor quality control or formula changes. So basically any condition she may have in the future that ManyPets can construe as related to the soft stool won’t be covered. If you’re an honest person who provides your vet with details to help your pet, beware – anything you say can and will be used against you. And if your memory is poor, make sure you have a calendar on hand to prevent having your pet branded with a preexisting condition. I canceled my policy, which had just charged to my card today, only to find out that they won’t refund the charge because you have to wait a month. So I’ve paid for two months of coverage for a healthy cat with one minor event that will never be covered. Stay away from this company unless you have a young pet with zero health history, or are adept at insurance-speak. You’re better off saving for your pet via an interest-bearing account with no headaches. I gave one star for the courteous demeanor of the agent I spoke with today.
