When I signed up, the qualifications of a pre-existing condition as stated in my application form, were symptom free for 30 days prior to the application, and nothing would be covered for the first 2 weeks after opening the account.
After submitting my claim they denied it because my cat had shown symptoms within the last 18 months. I had to pay my bill out of pocket, on the night I lost my cat. Then I get an email from them stating that they are sorry for my loss, but they are denying my coverage, but if my cat(now put to rest) doesn't show any symptoms for the next 18 months, i can sign him up for insurance coverage again. The money I spent for them to provide no service to me could have covered the vet bill itself.
This company is useless, don't bother signing up with them. I'm positive you can find a better pet insurance company to suit your needs
Can't set your referral after sign up, must do during
Only wish they let me place my friends email on the referral after the initial sign up. I had signed up at their home after the party and forgot to get her email. I figured I'd set it later. Nope. Not able to do it after. Not a major deal but still a little bit of customer service improvements especially on new accounts within 24-48 hours of creation. Thanks for the service, everything else is fabulous to this point đź‘Ź
One of the worst companies for processing claims. I submit my invoices with detailed listing of vaccines provided, date of service, and signature from the veterinarian. I provide detailed Amazon receipts for dental cleaning solution for my pets covered under their wellness plan. Yet, every-time I get the run around that they need to see when the item was shipped from Amazon, or that the receipt for the vaccination does not show a card was processed. How would the vet let me leave without charging me. Secondly the date of service, cost, and vaccine given with the vet signature was provided. A complete waste of time for them to try to not process claims!
