My claim was approved instantly
My dog got sick and was throwing up and not being wrong for days. I had to get c rays done and put him on meds. Lemonade took care of the claim right away and I had money in my account within the 24 hours.

Quick and Affordable
The few times we have to submit a claim, has been so quick and very easy! I always feel heard and helped whenever I need to contact anyone on the team! Thank you all for keeping my baby healthy.

Definitely Worth It!!
I was hesitant to purchase pet insurance for the first time but I am so glad we went with Lemonade! The representatives are fabulous and the claim reimbursements are fast. Definitely happy with the sevice!

Lemonade makes insurance super easy.
Lemonade has made getting pet insurance super easy and handles my claims extremely quick and answers any questions I have in great detail.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at $10/Month
Coverage
Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%,
80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Payout Limits
Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage
for pets as they age.
Waiting Period
All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods:
-2 days for accidents
-14 days for illnesses
-6 months for cruciate ligament events
There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.
Exclusions
Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
