Super Easy Claims Process
Since purchasing the insurance for my dog with Lemonade, this was the first time I was submitting a claim. I was surprised by how easy the process is. I highly recommend this product.

Happy with Lemonade
I have had Lemonade since they moved into the Colorado market and so far they have been great. I haven't have many claims but all of them have been covered and done quickly.

Lemonade is great
Lemonade has been a great pet insurance for our 1 year old French Bulldog. He ate a kid’s toy that he shouldn’t have, but then it was too big to get past his stomach, so I had to take him to the pet ER. Lemonade paid for most of the ER visit and the scope procedure to remove the foreign body. That was over $3,000! Plus it was very easy to place the claim and then get the payment.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at $10/Month
Coverage
Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%,
80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Payout Limits
Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage
for pets as they age.
Waiting Period
All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods:
-2 days for accidents
-14 days for illnesses
-6 months for cruciate ligament events
There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.
Exclusions
Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
