If only my insurance was as exceptional as my cats'!
If only my human medical insurance was as exceptional and hassle-free as my cats' Healthy Paws insurance! I have two rescues - adopted in Nov 2019 when they were about 3 mos old - and purchased policies for both. Aries (girl sibling) has had more medical issues than her brother, Orion, and -thankfully- her Healthy Paws policy has seen us through a few expensive episodes. It is easy to file a claim and reimbursements are amazingly fast - again, with no hassles (unlike my own insurance which is *all* hassles/frustration and minimal reimbursements).
Many, many thanks to all the Healthy Paws folks!
Donna, Aries & Orion
I am so glad I selected Healthy Paws as my pet insurance provider, The coverage and customer service are amazing. My dog recently had surgery and the claims process was so easy. Filing claims took less than two minutes to complete. And the payment of the claim was turned around within a couple of days. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone looking for pet health insurance.

6+ Years with Healthy Paws and Very Pleased!
I have had Healthy Paws for my pets for close to 7 years now. We have a $500 deductible and 90% reimbursement rate. In 2020, my long haired dachshund landed herself in the ER when her gums turned blue and she collapsed. The vet bill turned out to be somewhere around $3,500. HP reimbursed to the levels I stated above and I could not have been happier. As they tried to figure out what caused my dog to collapse, they wanted to order more tests, and I gladly said yes knowing I had such great coverage for her. Next up, my cat developed heart disease at the relatively young age of 2 and had to get regular cardio exams and medications. HP was great here too, as we hit our $500 deductible each year and then I’d receive reimbursements for the services my cat needed that went above this cost. In September 2023, my other dachshund became paralyzed and had to undergo emergency spinal surgery for IVDD. This is the main reason I got pet insurance in the first place. Since then, my dog recovered well, and then herniated another disc, had surgery again, and HP reimbursed to our levels BOTH times. The surgeries were pretty much life saving for my dog, as the chances of her walking again without either surgery was extremely low. In my policy, HP does not cover wellness exams or specialty vet exams, and the cost has increased somewhat every year. Even with these two points, I am still confident in my choice and repeatedly pleased with the service we have from HP Paws. I’m so SO thankful that I can continue to provide the best medical care to my pets knowing that I have a policy with this company. Thank you Healthy Paws.
