Quick, Caring Coverage for their Whole Life

Have had them for ~7 years now. I did a ton of research beforehand and HealthyPaws were (and still are) the best out there and my vets agree. I still give verbal recommendations anytime anyone needs insurance. They are always quick to process claims, upfront in what is covered (and that's almost everything except Vet Exams) and they follow up after payment to ensure everything is well with you and your pet. It's the little touches like this that make them exceptional. I know it's a business, but it doesn't feel like it's always "just business" with HealthyPaws.

This company will search through your…

This company will search through your records to find anything, true and relevant or not, so that they can claim a pre-existing condition. Even with a brand new diagnosis with NO pre-existing conditions. They will then deny ALL CLAIMS. There are NO VETERINARY PROFESSIONALS one can speak to and no insurance commission to investigate! Talking to a person who might answer their phone is fruitless. They have a standard answer...denied...for everything with no expert explanation.

Healthy Paws is the best

The process to submit a claim was ridiculously easy. They kept me posted along the way of their review. The claim was settled within days with an easy-to-understand statement of how they calculated the reimbursement. The reimbursement check was received before my puppy had even finished his medications. Most of all i appreciate the care and concern they showed to me and my dog. a sick puppy makes an owner extremely worried and anxious. Healthy Paws took a lot of that away. I highly recommend them

Pet Insurance Review

We were new dog owners when we got our border collie puppy nearly 4 years ago. The first two years of paying premiums I thought about cancelling it thinking we could just take care of things as we go. Then we had two back to back injuries ...one required an X-ray and the second one was stitches a drain and antibiotics. First injury was from jumping and second injury was accidentally cut on a fence chasing a stick. Both required Animal After hours care and both were under $1000. Easy peasy claims process and check was in the mail back to us. I highly recommend having insurance. Just takes one really bad story to break the bank. I hope not to use my insurance but have peace of mind that it is there if we have that unexpected $4000 situation.
