This is the best pet insurance company bar none. We had insurance before and they never paid out, and contantly found reasons as to why we were not covered. These kind folks are the opposite. They are prompt, polite, caring and funny. We are so pleased that we found them for our three fluffy boys, we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Healthy Paws - Exceeded My Every Expectation
For the last several years, we have had our two pets insured with Healthy Paws. During that time, they have both required treatment and Healthy Paws has been there every step of the way for both us and our pets. Rhianna, our golden retriever, developed a maxillary osteoma while Selena, our sheltie, needed two teeth extracted. Through these difficult ordeals, Healthy Paws has shown true compassion for our pets as well as we, the owners. They have been responsive to our every need, settled our claims professionally and fairly, and time and time again, have shown they truly care about our pets through their kind and thoughtful correspondence. Recently, when Rhianna passed, we received heartfelt condolences through a sympathy card sent to us by Healthy Paws which had been signed by many of the staffers there. Talk about caring!!! In my opinion, Healthy Paws should be held up as a shining example throughout the business world in this country of how a company should behave in meeting the needs of its customers. Healthy Paws is simply the best!!!

Great Experience with Healthy Paws So Far!
We have had Healthy Paws insurance for our <2-year-old Yorkie/Bichon mix, but never had the occasion to use it (luckily) until about 2 weeks ago. Olive had some vomiting over the course of a couple days, and a vet visit and diagnostics ran up a quick $600 bill. The vet's office did the legwork with the claim, and we received an email about a week later saying my claim had been processed and they'd be sending a check.
At this point, I was very happy. However, they REALLY sealed the deal when I received a personal email asking how Olive was doing after her "tummy troubles". It was obviously a personally-written email from a human, and they even asked for a picture, which I was only too happy to provide. I got a very nice email in return within a few hours. I couldn't be happier with Healthy Paws.

Very Pleased with Healthy Paws!
I spent a lot of time doing research on the different pet insurance companies before deciding on Healthy Paws based on coverage, cost, and customer satisfaction. I definitely think I made the right decision by choosing them!
To start with, they reviewed my dog's vet records and told me up front, in writing, what would and would not be covered as a pre-existing condition within the 30-day refund period. In addition, they were generous with their coverage; there were a few things I thought they would be within their right to classify as "pre-exisiting," but the only thing they said was that as long as my dog did not have another UTI within 9 months of his first one, anything that came up would be covered.
Last week, my dog got into some chocolate and had to spend the night at the emergency vet. Healthy Paws covered the entire bill, except the office fee (which is not covered). As of my writing this, it has been 7 days since the incident, and I already have my reimbursement check. So here is the timeline: incident happened Tuesday, July 3rd; I picked my dog up from the vet and left the claims paperwork with the vet Wednesday, July 4th; I was emailed on Thursday, July 5th that my claim had been received, and again that my claim had been processed; on Monday, July 9th I received the reimbursement check in the mail (and it got sent to the wrong address first!). I was already satisfied before this incident, and now I'm astounded.
There have been a few other, minor clai

Healthy Paws has been awesome for my dog Niko, & I
I am so happy to have made the right choice for my pet, Niko. She is a St. Bernard who will be 2 in August. In March of this year she was diagnosed with Epilepsy, after several terrible seizures. I got her insurance with healthy paws last July, and it has been a life saver. She spent 3 nights in the emergency pet hospital, and I did not have to worry about paying for it, as well as worrying about her. We are still working out the dosage for her medications, and I could not be happier with Healthy Paws and how they have handled my claim. I am in the (people) insurance business, and have been in sales, claims, and customer service. So I understand the insurance industry, and they are wonderful. Niko and I thank you!!
