Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I am so glad we have Healthy Paws Insurance for our dog. When Cooper mysteriously started vomiting we had to make an emergency trip to the animal hospital. It was comforting to know that we didn't have to turn down any diagnostic tests. He had stays, barium tests, blood tests and had to stay over night. The claim form could not have been easier to fill out. All I had to o was print out Cooper's custom form, get a vet signature and attach a receipt. That's it! I had a check within a week. So easy!

This is the best insurance I have ever had... I would never in life look back. I am a happy member of the Healthy Paws family they treat me as family as well as my little furry babies. I put my dogs lives and my whole household on the line guaranteed ... you will not find a better company.

Healthy Paws' policy of offering a pre-committment records review allows pet owners to know exactly what will be covered and what won't. And the review is pain-free--your vet's office faxes over the records and in about a week to 10 days, you have your answers in writing. It's nice to know going in whether or not the policy will work for your dog. Very pleased so far.

I purchased Healthy Paws Pet Insurance last year, thinking it would help me sleep at night, but never thinking I would actually need it. Unfortunately, this has not been the case and I have submitted several claims over the last several months. All were processed immediately and there was no "funny business". In addition, the staff have been very empathetic. I could not say enough positive things about this company and would recommend it to anyone who has a four legged family member.

Still unsure if the insurance would really pay off, I decided to give it a go. Now a couple months later, I am confident enrolling Rufus with Healthy Paws was the right decision, and we will remain a customer for life! The customer service is fantastic, the claim forms are easy to fill out and submit, and everything is handled in a timely fashion - including reimbursement. One great perk is that the deductible is annual - not per incident. Our lovely dog has managed to already hit that deductible in the short time we've had him, and now we'll only be responsible for 10 percent of his healthcare costs for the rest of 2011. I can't say enough great things about Healthy Paws - I highly recommend the company, and I highly recommend your investment in pet insurance! It provides great peace of mind to know your pet will always be able to receive the medical care they need without maxing out your credit cards.
