Outstanding Service

I've had a number of adopted dogs over the years but I've never had pet insurance. I started hearing more about it, and after doing some research I decided to get insurance for my two adopted French Bulldogs. I went with Healthy Paws based on their excellent review and the fact that they support rescue groups. Last weekend I woke up to find one of my boys very ill. I rushed him to an emergency vet clinic where he had to spend the night. The folks at Healthy Paws couldn't have been nicer or more supportive. 24 hours after submitting paperwork, I received an email stating my claim was processed and that a check would be sent the next day. My experience dealing with Healthy Paws couldn't have been better and I would highly recommend them.

Healthy Paws is amazing!!!

After my one dog, Rome, got a tumor I decided I should get pet insurance. I researched quite a bit and decided to go with Healthy Paws, I like that they give back to Homeless Animals since both of my dogs are rescues. The same day I signed up I got a personal email from the co-founder welcoming me to Healthy Paws. I was a bit in shock...never heard of an insurance company making you feel welcome. It made me really glad I went with Healthy Paws. Shortly after purchasing insurance, my other dog, Pancake, tore her cruciate ligament and needed surgery. I submitted a claim which was promptly reimbursed. I even received calls from them asking how Pancake was doing. So if you are trying to decide on which insurance company to go with look no further...sign up with Healthy Paws. You won't regret it.

Great customer care

I just signed up for Healthy Paws after researching all of the companies online ultimately decided on Healthy Paws because of the great customer service! I know that everyone who is reading this has had numerous experiences in life where bad service and customer care left you wishing you were not committed to a company+On the other hand, it is worth making the commitment when you receive such wonderful customer service. I havent had a claim, but can tell when and if that happens it will be prompt and efficient! Thanks Healthy Paws! Lauren and Reilly

Warmth, Professionalism, and Personal Service

My husband and I wanted to be able to afford to give our rescued Australian Cattle Dog, Sara, the very best care for the rest of her life, so we enrolled her with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. Approximately two months after signing her up with Healthy Paws in February, I noticed occasionally lameness in her right back leg. I took her to her vet, who examined her and gave the diagnosis of a partial cruciate tear and recommended surgery. (not an unusual injury for very active and athletic dogs). We also consulted with a highly recommended surgeon. He confirmed the diagnosis of Sara’s vet and explained two procedures and gave me estimated costs for each--Cranial Cruciate Ligament Rupture—Modified Retinacular Imbrication Technique (MRIT) (approximately $3000) or Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) (approximately $4000). I submitted the estimates to the Healthy Paws Claims Team. Even though the TPLO was more expensive, they did not hesitate to encourage me to go with the recommendations of the surgeon. Sara had surgery on a Friday. On Monday I submitted the invoice and received a 90% reimbursement within 72 hours…FAST REIMBUREMENT just as they advertise. AND, with an explanation and breakdown that was so easy to follow and understand. And if this isn’t enough, I just learned that hydrotherapy for Sara will also be covered! The Healthy Paws Claims Team was so supportive—they all have pets and are so knowledgeable about everything related to dogs, including this specific surgery

Great Coverage & Caring People

I have to say one of the most remarkable things about Healthy Paws is how much it doesn't feel like you're working with a typical insurance company. All the folks we've come into contact with have been wonderfully supportive and genuinely care about keeping pets healthy and the mission to help rescue as many homeless animals as possible. I am so glad we purchased our coverage when we did, as our boxer experienced a severe liver condition soon afterwards. Throughout his stay in ICU to his return to home healthy & happy, the Healthy Paws staff had our back on the claims so we could focus on getting him healthy again. The claims process is easy, reimbursement is prompt, and the premiums are very reasonable considering the overall quality of service. I would highly recommend this company to any pet owner! They help make difficult times a little easier by allowing you to focus on your pet's well being instead of worrying about the financial burden.
