Honest, Efficient, Friendly...Amazing!

I wish all companies were as honest, friendly, and efficient as Healthy Paws! When my boxer puppy, Nina, fell sick to severe pneumonia and then bordatella at only a few months old, I was so worried about our medical bills for her. How could we afford over $1,000 in hospitalization and treatment for her? Thank God Healthy Paws reimbursed us VERY quickly. Their team is so caring and they genuinely care about my dog. I never have to deal with typical customer service issues I experience with other companies...I don't think I have ever waited on hold when contacting Healthy Paws, and THEY contact ME to check up on my dog. This company has excellent communication with me, and submitting a claim is so EASY. I thought the claim process would be complicated but it was as simple as completing a brief form and mailing it in. It's a wonderful experience, and I am so pleased with this insurance company. I will never use another company. My dog is so important to me, and her health is a priority for me. If you want a quick turnaround time with your claims, friendly customer service, and an affordable monthly fee, sign up for Healthy Paws. They truly are the best! My little Nina agrees. :)

Very pleased with Healthy Paws

I have been a pet owner for 27 years and never bought pet insurance. In May one of my dogs suddenly became ill and died after valiant (and expensive) effots to save her. I decided to buy pet insurance to help defray the costs of another like event. I read online reviews and discussed the topic with my vet and selected Healthy Paws. I opted to enroll my two young rescue dogs, one I had for less than a month. The coverage kicks in 15 days after enrollment. On day 16 one of my dogs became ill and required two trips to the ER within 24 hours. The cumulative total for both visits was right at $1000. I followed the very simple claims filing instructions, asked my vet to submit his full medical record (first claim) and sign the forms. I filed the claims and made a follow up call to the Customer Service group to verify they had what they needed. Within 9 days I received, via email, the explanation of benefits for both claims, paying every eligible dollar! I am a healthcare administrator and I couldn't be more impressed with the process or the customer service reps I dealt with over the phone.

Healthy Paw

I recently bought two insurance policies for our 9.5 year old dogs. The day after the waiting period I found a growth at the back of our dog's paw that had to be removed. Healthy Paws was great! I submitted my claim, mainly hoping to have the expense go toward my deductible. They were very helpful, processed everything quickly once my vet faxed all the medical records. I was very happy that they accepted the claim! I have found everyone I've spoken to at Healthy Paws to be very helpful and professional. I am giving pamphlets to my vet's office!

Best all-around pet insurance!

When my wife and I decided to get a puppy, I knew I wanted to get pet insurance after hearing about some of the vet bills for different things my friends' pets had been through. After looking at quotes from VPI, Pets Best, Trupanion, Pet Partners, etc. I decided on Healthy Paws based on their policy coverage, glowing reviews, and very reasonable premium. I have to say I have never had a better insurance experience (including health, life, auto, etc.) than with Healthy Paws! They are extremely responsive, understanding, and don't give you the runaround when processing claims. Highly recommended!

Great service

Healthy Paws has been terrific. I didn't get Healthy Paws insurance until my dog was 11-years old and had already experienced a major medical issue. There weren't many insurance choices when my dog was a pup. At that time the couple of insurances available were expensive and the coverage wasn't very good. When I decided to get insurance for my dog last year, I compared price and coverage. Healthy Paws offered the coverage I needed at the right price. Their customer service has been wonderful. Less than a year after getting the insurance, my dog got colitis. They not only reimbursed me promptly, but called to follow-up on how he was feeling. They encouraged me to return to the vet if I had any concerns about my dog and assured me that any follow-up, including diagnostic tests and medicine in connection with this illness, would be covered. When the time comes to get another dog, Healthy Paws will be his insurance provider from the start. Their coverage is exactly what they say it will be -- no surprises -- and their customer service is terrific.
