Real Life Experience

We decided to get pet insurance when we adopted our 3 month old puppy, Barkley. Friends and family laughed at me.But, did you know puppies put their heads into everything-caused a $500 eye infection. You should have seen Healthy Paws in action, ouro first claim handled beautifully. Then, Barkley was diagnosed at 8 months with hip displaysia, very unusual for a puppy. While the policy only covered this once after 1 year, I was amazed it covered it at all (most don't). Subsequent to the surgery, Barkley got a serious urinary track infection and has been to the ER twice and Hospitalized once, then to our local vet because he stopped eating and drinking. Again, Healthy Paws customer service and concern for Barkley has been fantastic. Quick response time and Healthy Paws does what they say they will do, and cover exactly what you would expect. We are hoping that this is the last of any major expenses for such a young pup, but now my family and friends are looking at Healthy Paws for their pets!

My claim was processed quickly and hassle free.

My dog, Benji, came down wand with severe gastroenteritis. He spent two nights at the pet hospital which proved quite costly. Thanks for the pet insurance the expense became minimal. My claim was processed promptly and the reimbursement check arrived just in time. I am grateful that Healthy Paws came through. I have recommended your insurance company to all my relatives and friends.

Amazing service

3 months after I enrolled in Healthy Paws, our beloved puppy Goober got hit by a car and badly fractured his front leg. The vet recommended surgery since the fracture was bad enough that without it the leg would not heal correctly. We were told the only reason not to get the surgery would be if we cannot afford it and without Healthy Paws, we definitely could not have. I was expecting the insurance process to be painful, but Healthy Paws reimbursed us for 90% of the costs and we only had to fax over some documents. The process was easy, fast, and very reliable. Recently, I received an email from Healthy Paws asking if I need a replacement for a check that was issued to us in May that we had never cashed (we misplaced it while moving this summer!). This, in my opinion, is as stellar as customer service gets. Healthy Paws definitely went above and beyond our expectations. Not only are their helpful and reliable, but they are also friendly, which is much appreciated!

Responsive and caring

Before adopting a new companion, we went through the medical expense records of our last pet George. We realized that we had spent over $5000 on him his last 2 years of life due to an issue with the nerves in his lower spine. He had a tendency to rush up to other dogs to say "Hi!" only to be bitten by the other dog (several times). While we don't expect the same type of issues with our new companion, we decided it would be best to get insurance for him just in case. Recently our dog, "Buddy", was not eating and had become extremely lethargic. We needed to take him in to the vet. Such a relief to know that he is covered and finances don't enter into the equation. Buddy had to have x-rays and blood work done. We keep the pet insurance forms at our vets office and they send the paperwork into Healthy Paws. Buddy was at the vet on a Monday and Healthy Paws had a reimbursement check to us by Thursday. Healthy Paws always follows up with an email to make sure that our fuzzy friend is feeling better. They also support pet shelters and animal rescue groups which is a real plus ++ for us since that's where our best friends come from. The level of service they provide is far and above anything I receive from my (human) family's insurance plan. I would recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who cares about their fuzzy friends.

Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE Service!!!

It can not get any better than Healthy Paws!! I submitted my claim via email at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. The next day, at 8:15 a.m. I receive an email stating that the claim was processed and the check is on the way!!! This is not a one-time event either! My other claims, sent by mail, also had an outstanding turn-around time. The customer support team is also very friendly, caring, and supportive. No need to shop around . . . this is the best!!
