I found out my adopted cat had CKD only…

I found out my adopted cat had CKD only a few months after adopting her and I can't tell you how grateful I am to have gotten Healthy Paws insurance immediately after adopting her. The medical bills racked up quickly and thankfully Healthy Paws extensive coverage has protected us financially while also helping to care for my baby girl!

I’m so grateful for Healthypaws these…

I’m so grateful for Healthypaws these last 5 years. Our 11 year old Chihuahua Foxie has unfortunately had bouts of sickness over the last several years that landed her in the hospital that led to incredibly high bills and thanks to Healthypaws we were able to get most of those bills covered without hassle. It’s very simple to submit a claim and takes little time to get reimbursed, and customer service is excellent whenever I’ve needed them. Would recommend Healthypaws to anyone with a pet!

Great insurance, easy, fast, no hassle

I have been a customer for over a decade. The process to file claims has always been fast and easy. Repayment has always been pretty quick (a week is slow for them). What is really remarkable is how easy things were when going to multiple vets to discover my dog has cancer. The expensive tests and procedures to determine them at one vet, radiation therapy at another vet, and chemotherapy at another vet. All of this was easy to file and reimbursed without any fighting. I wish peoples health insurance was as good and easy as this. Over the years too my dog has had other issues and as promised the rates have not increased due to incidents.

Many great years of easy excellent claims, very grateful

I have been a customer for over a decade. The process to file claims has always been fast and easy. Repayment has always been pretty quick (a week is slow for them). What is really remarkable is how easy things were when going to multiple vets to discover my dog has cancer. The expensive tests and procedures to determine them at one vet, radiation therapy at another vet, and chemotherapy at another vet. All of this was easy to file and reimbursed without any fighting. It is to be noted all this cancer treatment has not been cheap (over $20,000 at this point and still ongoing) and would have been really hard to take care of my dog. I wish peoples health insurance was as good and easy as this. Over the years too my dog has had other issues and as promised the rates have not increased due to incidents.

Healthy Paws saved my dogs life...

My dog started having trouble breathing so we took her to our local pet ER. After tests, xrays, and an ultraound, they diagnosed her with pyothorax (fluid in her chest cavity). We transferred her to another vet that could do a CT scan then her surgery. After surgery, she was in the ICU for 10 days with a chest tube then another 2 days after the tube was removed, a total of 12 days. The total discharge bill was $20k plus a $5k ER bill. The plan we have has a $500 yearly deductible then 90% plan paid/10% customer paid. Our total out of pocket ended up being around $3k out of the $25k total bill. They saved her life because there was no way we would’ve been able to afford it without knowing we’d be reimbursed. And they made the reimbursement process so easy. They called the vet and got the confirmation they needed and I got a direct deposit a few days later. Thank you so much Healthy Paws!
