The best insurance you can have!

My dog, Ollie, was involved in an altercation with another dog that led to over 100 stitches. I filed my claim with Healthy Paws and couldn't believe the great response I received. I received emails as to Ollie's progress, who by the way is doing fantastic, and my claim was processed so quickly that I was amazed. I would recommend Healthy Paws without reservation...

Prompt, Fair, and Great Customer Service

We first considered purchasing medical coverage for our new puppy almost a year ago. Initially, we thought the cost may not be a wise investment - and we were skeptical of any claims processes, should we actually need to utilize the coverage. We can now say with confidence, the decision to purchase coverage from Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is one we will not regret. Earlier this year our puppy had multiple episodes of gastritis/gastroenteritis - which resulted with loose bowels, vomiting, and subsequent treatment for dehydration. Due to the reoccurring nature of these incidents, we believed he may have ingested a foreign object that may have become an obstruction. Analysis of these issues required multiple trips to different veterinarians over the course of a couple months. Once claim forms and associated documentation was submitted to Healthy Paws for reimbursement, the thoughtful staff promptly processed the paperwork and provided clear and personal communication throughout the process. The claims process was straightforward – and offered several options (mail, fax, e-mail) for transmitting information. The ONLY improvement I could suggest/recommend for Healthy Paws is to allow larger file attachments (currently 5MB) for e-mailed claim form documentation. We will certainly continue our coverage - and will not hesitate to recommend the services of Healthy Paws Pet Insurance to our friends and family in the future.

Healthy Paws is AWESOME!

My dog (labrador) recently injested a foreign object without us knowing. He became very ill one night and when we took hin to the vet it was determined he would need surgery. The item was already passed his abdomen and in his intestine which is a more serious surgery. My family and I had already undergone 2 previous surgeries w our dog but they were both events we had witnessed him eating somthing we felt he couldnt pass or throw up, so his surgery was in the belly and less critical. I say this because I wasnt even sure Healthy Paws would insure my dog because of his previous "accidents." The monthly cost is very reasonable as we compared many others. The claim form couldnt be any easier to fill out. We were fully reimbursed and the claim was reviewed in less than 10 days! I think this company is awesome!

Healthy Paws took care of our dog, Chloe

We are so happy with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. Our dog (a 5 year old yellow lab) Chloe tore her ACL, and Healthy Paws was so attentive and timely in helping us file our claim. We had no problem whatsoever getting our claim processed and received a check within days of the claim submittal. Thank you Healthy Paws for doing such a great job and helping us like you did!

Everyone should have this insurance!

I have to admit that I was very skeptical of pet insurance in the first place. I am one of those people that believes in saving for a rainy day and there is no need to pay an insurance company a monthly premium for something that should be budgeted for in the rainy day fund. I have never been a fan of any insurance company in general, whether it be car, home, health, etc. Nevertheless, I have a Labrador Retriever who is very prone to getting into everything and thought I would try it out and see what I thought for a year and then cancel it if it seemed a waste. Earlier this month, my lab got a case of chronic vomiting with blood in the vomit. I freaked out and we had to have x-rays to make sure he hadn't eaten anything and then a barium swallow test. Both expensive procedures. After no definitive results and continued vomiting, we were referred to a specialist for ultrasound and endoscopy. All of these procedures together totaled around $2,600.00. Healthy Paws was amazing to deal with. I had a reimbursement check in days and the staff even emailed me to check on Jackson. We are still waiting on the biopsy results to verify that it is not cancer but I will NEVER cancel this policy. I have the $250.00 deductible with 90% reimbursement-For my 5 year old lab, the premium is around $40.00 per month. BUT, this policy INCLUDES congenital hip/back/elbow conditions that labs are prone to after a 1 year waiting period. I could not find a single other policy out there th
