They sent an email to check on my puppy.

My 8 month old puppy was having what we thought was reverse sneezing, but it came on suddenly and many times a day. She looked so sad and miserable as this happened. We had trouble getting to the bottom of why this was happening so often and so suddenly (it was not an obstruction). She had 4 visits to the vet and a number of diagnostics done to get to the problem and solution. I submitted a claim after each vet visit (all in a month's time!)and Healthy Paws was very quick in emailing me back to say that they were processing my claim. I received each check in less than a week's time. What impressed me also was that Jen, a Customer Care & Claims Manager, emailed me on Christmas Eve to ask how my girl was doing and when I replied that she was spending that morning getting a procedure done, she sent sincere well wishes. I'm very happy with my decision to go with Healthy Paws. Even though I hope to not have to use it again, I feel confident that if I do, we will be taken care of.

Best decision we made for our Greyhound

We were looking at the various pet insurance plans available, Healthy Paws had the most to offer at a reasonable rate. Our vet has submitted claims for us and the response from Healthy Paws was very quick. Any claim that was covered was addressed in a timely manner. We are definately recommending Health Paws to other pet owners.

Will never be without pet insurance again.

Purchase Pet Insurance for my Polish Lowland sheepdog thinking that I would never use it. After she injured her back hind leg (we still do not know how it was injured) and it did not improve with rest. She was found to have a torn ACL that needed to be repaired through surgery. I was really expecting a hassle trying to file insurance since I had never used Pet Insurance with any of my past dogs. This couldn't be further from the truth, it was quite easy to complete and when I had question the customer service was excellent. I am not easy to please when it comes to service and don't recommend a company unless I am completely impressed. I am completely impressed with Healthy Paws customer service and have recommended them to several friends. The only suggestion I would have is to add the claim status to the user site or add a click to chat. Thanks you have earned a life long customer.

Emergency Visit Coverage

As was expected, having insurance for Dexter has already paid for itself many times over. Getting hit with a large bill by an emergency vet during the holiday season is never fun, but it was nice to know that Healthy Paws was behind me and would be covering a majority of the costs. It is always a no brainier to get your pet the best care you can, but it gives you peace of mind when they are there to take off some of that burden. That mixed with some great followup emails to make sure that my little man was doing well and happy again was a nice touch. After having considered a number of insurance providers, I am glad to have made my choice with Healthy Paws.

Wonderful Company!!!

As a Professional Dog Trainer, I have heard many comments from clients regarding the Pet Insurance companies they have tried. I tried this one based on one of my clients. My clients are waiting for my review of the company after using up my deductible. Wow! My 11 month old Saint Berdoodle developed a nasty cough and runny nose the day before we were to fly to another state. I had to take him to the emergency vet on Dec 23. Healthy Paws was notified on Dec 24 and had a check in the mail for reimbursement on Dec 26! This is an awesome affordable company.
