Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I've been with Healthy Paws for over two years now and my life was changed to complete peace of mind because THIS is what pet insurance should be! I have tried the competitors and their limitations, reimbursement schedules, and claims processing often made me wonder why I had bothered to get the insurance. I can't imagine my life without Healthy Paws. You guys always strive to better our furry family's lives as if they are your own. The customer service and compassion you had in your condolence to me for my first dog was heartfelt and personal! I have complete confidence my second dog will continue to have your attention and efforts in allowing for the best veterinary care to continue for her without worrying about cost. Words just cannot express how blessed the pet owner world is to have you all! I sure wish my insurance companies were as good. The first claim I had an email from healthy paws waiting for me when I got home. Next my 2 year old male cat somehow broke his hip. When surgery was done a second break was found. So I had a substantial bill. I submitted this bill and another and I received payment on both within the week. With the company helping homeless pets, the emails the company sends for pets birthdays and inquiring how the patient is, and friendly people on the phone I couldn't have picked a better company and I highly recommend them.

i don't think I can say enough positive things about Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. Prior to applying for coverage for my French bulldog Winston, I did a great deal of research. Most companies had many exceptions, high deductibles, and/or high monthly fees. Healthy Paws had multiple options and low monthly payments. Moreover, since Winston started using the coverage, I have never seen claims processed so quickly. If I scan over a claim on a Monday, it is processed on a Tuesday, and a check reaches my home within a week. The explanation of benefits is clear and easy to understand. If you do have a question, a claims representative is always helpful. As I told the staff at Winston's veterinarians office, I wish Healthy Paws could be my health insurance company. They are efficient, friendly, and cost-effective.

If it wasn't for Healthy Paws, I don't know what I would do. We adopted a shelter dog a year ago. I've used Healthy Paws insurance multiple times throughout the year including just this past month with vet bills adding up to nearly $1000.00! Within one week of the vet visit, the Healthy Paws checks were in my mailbox. They have been extremely helpful when I've called with questions, and they follow up with emails quickly. Just a great all around service!I wish that I had insurance like this for my last dog, and I'm so thankful that I have it now. Definitely not a mistake or waste of money. Don't hesitate - pick a monthly plan that works for you and apply immediately! I have the 90% reimbursement/$100 deductible plan - at $31.95/month. It's a bargain considering what I would have had to pay out of pocket. Highly recommended!

I sent two claims on different dogs several months ago. They still have not paid on the claims after receiving the health background for each dog. I have contacted them several times and they keep saying they need the medical records. The vet's office said they have faxed over all the information several times.
