Crucial to have as a responsible pet parent

I've had Healthy Paws for over a year now, for both our dogs. Our rescue pup had all the usual medical problems associated with abandoned pets so the vet visits were common the first 6 months. Thankfully Healthy Paws was there to cover every illness or accident he had. But our biggest relief came when our old Cocker Spaniel went lame due to a bad knee that needed immediate surgery. Without hesitation we took him in knowing Healthy Paws not only covered the surgical procedure, but the meds and, most importantly, all the post-op therapy he would need to recover and be able to use the leg again without difficulty. The costumer service was flawless and sympathetic to our pets' suffering, and were quick to issue each refund as the bills added up. Their follow-up inquiries after each of our pets' injuries were throughtful and very kind. Couldn't have hoped for a better insurance company to take care of our furry babies and we are grateful we found Healthy Paws to care for them as much as we do. The week our Cocker Spaniel went into surgery I must have recommended this company to a dozen pet parents while at the clinics, to include my best friend who was looking for a trustworthy pet insurance. Everyone who loves their pet need to have a form of insurance that will cover medical bills, because no pet should be put down simply because one isn't able to cover a surgery that could save them and prevent further pain.

Healthy Paws Is Great!

Healthy Paws's insurance coverage is great and also they have great and friendly staff too! I had a different pet insurance before, but I switched to Healthy Paws after a lot of research about 1 1/2 years ago. I have three Persian cats and one of them was diagnosed "Pyometra" and she had to do surgery, "ASAP".  I had to pay around $2,000 as a deposit and also after surgery I paid $2,000 more. Total 4,000! Well, I didn't expect any insurance company to reimburse me such a big amount, but I filed a claim just in case. Surprisingly Healthy paws emailed me a few days later and they said they would reimburse 90% of it! I could not believe it! Really?!!?! I am so glad to have Healthy Paws insurance! They do care about pets and they did exactly what they said they would. I will recommend it to all my friends and I want to say THANK YOU so much!

Great!

We have nothing but great things to say about Healthy Paws. My somewhat accident prone pug has had his fair share of vet visits and every time I have sent in a invoice they email me the next day and it seems like I have a check no later than three days later every single time. They also follow up in a week with a personalized email asking how your pet is doing. We really love their customer service!

Best Pet Insurance out there!!

Healthy Paws is the best pet insurance out there. I have 3 animals insured with Healthy Paws and anytime I have filed a claim they have been so fast in responding. I have never had a bad experience with them. Recently my 8 month old puppy had a very expensive elbow surgery.. I filed my claim on a Thursday and had my check by the next Tuesday. Absolutely amazing! Not only are they fast at refunding you they are so compassionate. I received an email from a rep at Healthy Paws checking on my puppy. Most insurance companies would not do that. I recommend Healthy Paws to everyone I know that has animals!

Heatlty Paws is the BEST!!

Words can't describe how highly we'd recommend Healthy Paws. In April 2013 we adopted two 8 week old pug litter mates, Yogi and Boo Boo. After researching multiple pet insurance plans, we chose Healthy Paws days after adoption ($250 deductible, 90% reimbursement). We never anticipated any major medical issues with puppies so young. In August, we took a 10 day vacation and left them with relatives. Upon our return it was obvious Yogi had serious problems walking. We immediately took him to the vet who did x-rays and then referred us to a veterinary neurological clinic. The veterinary neurological clinic performed an MRI and found Yogi, had spinal stenosis that was aggravated by an acute concussive spinal injury. The x-rays and MRI cost over $2,000! The vet submitted the claim to Healthy Paws and we received a check in just over two weeks! Healthy Paws has also contacted us by email to see how Yogi is recovering. What great customer service, if only humans had the same service from their health insurance companies. As for, Yogi, he is recovering slowing, being on crate rest for 4-8 weeks, though he gets more chipper every day. He's looking forward to, again, playing with litter mate and best buddy, Boo Boo.
