The premier pet insurance!

My dog required TPLO surgery on both rear legs. Watching him walk as if crippled was so awful. When I was told it would cost $ 8000.00 I thought I would faint. But my next thought was that Healthy Paws insurance would come through for me. Did they ever! I received notification that my claim was being processed and then that my reimbursement was in the mail...the day after the clinic sent in the claim! The Healthy Paws customer service is simply the best! Their insurance is worth every penny.

Lightning Fast Settlements

My frenchie started vomiting blood late one Friday evening and I took him into an urgent care center. When your pet is sick, it makes things so much easier if you're able to say, yes we'll take the meds, yes please do the bloodwork without fear of a multi-thousand dollar bill. Max got the proper care he needed and there was a check in my mailbox within a week of filing my claim. I have nothing but excellent things to say about this company, and will continue to use them for Max and any other pets I have in the future. Thanks Healthy Paws!

They Gave My Dog A Real Chance Before She Died

My puppy turned one earlier this month and had been completely healthy the entire year. Suddenly she got Kennel Cough. I was able to immediately take her to the vet without fear of a large bill. Unfortunately, their diagnosis did not catch her eventual pneumonia and lung tear that put her in the hospital's oxygen tank for 3-4 days (at $1300/day). My dog died despite everyone's intense effort to help her. We were shocked. Even my vet, who thought she might have a chance, couldn't believe her kennel cough got out of hand like this in a matter of days. But thank god for Healthy Paws. I was able to give her the best chance before we put her down. I have no regrets. She got the best (most expensive/advanced) help she could. Within a few days she got ALL the necessary procedures because I didn't have to worry about making a choice between her health and a fear of extraordinary bills. I also want to mentioned that Healthy Paws sent me their condolences pretty immediately (I got 3 separate emails from different team members). They dealt with the claim within the promised 10 days and communicated with me the whole way through the claim process. I LOVE THEM. They cancelled my policy for me (I didn't need to ask) the day she died. I feel so well taken care of and truly touched by their genuine love and compassion for animal families. I will use them for all my future pets.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is awesome!

I have 5 pets - 2 cats and 3 dogs. I purchased Healthy Paws approximately 2-3 years ago on all 5. I'm so glad I did! Since purchasing Healthy Paws, one of my cats has developed diabetes and must have two insulin injections per day. In addition, she has to go to the vet frequently for glucose checks to ensure the dosage is keeping her glucose levels where they need to be. She's also had a couple of urinary tract infections, which seem to be related to the diabets. All of these issues have been very expensive over time. I estimate that in the past year, her vet bills have been somewhere between $1,000 to $1,500. Her insulin alone is $135 per bottle. Fortunately, I have Healthy Paws and they have reimbursed claims quickly and reliably. In addition to the above issues with the cat, one of my dogs had to have sugery three weeks ago for removal of bladder stones. Initially, she was treated for a urinary tract infection, but after approximnately one week, it became apparent that she was not getting better. The vet then did x-rays to determine if she had bladder stones, and unfortunately, she did. With her pre-surgery treatment, the surgery and meds, the vet bills were close to $2,000. Again, I feel fortunate that I have Healthy Paws and they reimbursed on her claims promptly. I am a single person, and like so many others, I'm just making a living, but certainly not getting rich. I could not bare the thought of putting down a beloved pet because of a lack of money. I would

Amazing

I have been a client of healthy paws for almost 2 years. My pup had an accident that required surgery. He had surgery on Wednesday, I submitted my claim on Thursday, it was approved on Friday and I had a check the following Tuesday. Amazing. A customer service representative emailed me on Saturday to check up on how he was doing after surgery. I assumed it was just a a courtesty follow up, but I responded and received a very nice response back. It really made me feel like they were going above and beyond...and genuinely cared about my pup. The customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend this company! I can't express what a relief it was to have healthy paws when my pup was hurt. I didn't have to worry about how much anything costs. I could just focus on him and what he needed and not how I was going to come up with the money for his surgery!
