Katy has responded well to the treatment plan and we will be finishing the medications today. She is back to being her exuberant, happy self. I can't say enough wonderful things about Healthy Paws insurance. Knowing Katy has 90% coverage for accidents and illnesses gave us peace of mind in pursuing the best possible course of treatment for her without worrying about an astronomical vet bill. The prompt response by your staff in processing the claim ensures we will be able to pay our credit card bill in full when it is due in a few days. I signed my puppy up for pet insurance after my last dog Leo cost me thousands of dollars at the vet with his various, ongoing health problems. I lost him to cancer on March 17th and signed my puppy up the next day, because I swore I would never put myself in that situation again, where I couldn't afford to do whatever medical treatment was available for my dog because I couldn't afford it. I shopped around and by a stroke of luck, found Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, took a risk and so far it turned out to be one of the best risks I have taken in a long time. My puppy Midas has severe allergies and was biting himself raw, the dog seriously had bald spots all over his body and was driving me crazy because nothing that I did helped. I have now been to the vet three times regarding this condition and have filed three claims with Healthy Paws and they are amazing. Other than the items that are not covered which are clearly laid out on their website, they have reimbursed me for everything! The reason I am writing this review now is because I just emailed them my 3rd claim and ten minutes later, they emailed me back saying that they processed my claim and are reimbursing me the full 90% of my bill. The cost is only $30 a month for 90% reimbursement and they DO NOT look for reasons to deny your claim. They are the best insurance company I have ever dealt with and I keep waiting for them to start acting like an "insurance company" and do something shady and they haven't. They are great

Our Bassett Hound puppy Otis had to have emergency surgery. Lucky for us my wife and I decided on Healthy Paws for our pet insurance. The medical bills were over $2,000. Healthy Paws was excellent in their service. The claim was handled quickly and professionally. They even followed up to see how Otis was doing. I cannot say enough good things about Healthy Paws. Our first pet puppy Winifred had to be rushed to the emergency room. We were nervous and did not know what was wrong with her mouth. The vet generated a $3,000 estimate of all the procedures they might need to perform. We called Healthy Paws and they quickly had the vet fax over the estimate. Within minutes they called us back with approval! After a few hours the vet found a foxtail burr lodged on her throat. During that time Healthy Paws was readily available to answer any questions we had.

Having been routinely seriously abused and screwed by VPI (the most horrible, shockingly nasty pet insurer in the world) I was surfing the net one day trying desperately to get RID of said company, when I found a non-profit site for animal rescue on which there was a link to "Healthy Paws Pet Insurance"!! Imagine my delight! By I went into the link with more than a little wariness (remember, an abused person has lost nearly all faith in goodness).... It all sounded too good to be true. They were not only a pet insurance organization, but they support animal rescue and had so many perfect reviews...I had to know more. I called and spoke to the kindest woman, who assured me they were all that and a bag of chips....still wary, I signed up online and that, as they say, was all she wrote for me. That was four years ago and since then, I've been MADLY in love with Healthy Paws! No, that is not an overstatement or an exaggeration. These people who comprise this organization are the most wonderful, loving, supportive and responsive crew I've ever been exposed to as a pet loving adult seeking insurance for said family members... I didn't have a claim for a long time and then our beloved mini Schnauzer passed away suddenly (the vet suspected an embolism in the night) and our cat was bereft.
