Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I just have to say WOW! This is my first experience with a pet insurance and Healthy Paws and I am soo pleased. My American Bulldog needed emergency surgery for a ruptured cornea and entropion. Healthy Paws was there to help every step of the way. They are prompt and their customer service is great. I also left a great review on their facebook page and tell everyone I know who is shopping for insurance about them.

Our dog recently came down with a scary case giardia which required imaging and laboratory studies, fluid replacement and two types of oral medications. With a bill approaching $700 we were delighted at how quickly our claim was processed and paid. They even sent us an email asking how out pup was doing! If only my own health insurance was this good....

Our 10 month old puppy was Diagnosed with a Luxating Patella requiring MPL Surgery. Healthpaws has been amazing through the entire process and I don't know what we would have done without them! I would HIGHLY recommend any pet owner to seriously look at this company if they are searching for insurance! As the title states, this company is TOP NOTCH A++!!!

Our 1 year old yellow lab (Chunk) digested an entire tube sock, he underwent 4 hours of surgery which saved his life. Had it not been for our vet and Healthy Paws he would have surely passed away. The comfort of knowing that Healthy Paws is there to insure the coverage of a surgery such as this is what made the decision that much easier to give the go ahead for the surgery. We could not be happier about the way the claims have been handled and their quick response to all of our emails and phone calls. I have already recommended Healthy Paws to several of my friends that have new (and old) pets in order for them to be rest assured that when (not if) there pets will require a visit to the vet that they two will be in good hands knowing a company such as this will stand beside them in their time of need. The service we have received from Healthy Paws has been exceptional. We purchased a policy for our new puppy, anticipating that the active lifestyle we envision for her could lead to an injury at some point during her life. We weren't expecting her to be attacked by another dog at 10 weeks of age, nor were we expecting that she'd require neurosurgery to heal her wounds! She spent over a week in 2 different ICUs and continues to require prescription medication as she heals from her injuries. We had only held our policy for 18 days when this occurred and there were no questions asked. We've received prompt, efficient, and kind service from the staff at Healthy Paws. If only human health insurance provided the same level of care and service! I highly recommend this company to those looking for coverage for their pet. The cost of the premiums is quite reasonable and as I've said, the coverage is excellent.
