Healthy Paws is Fantastic!!

My dog - Trixie a Bichon Frise - required major surgery & expensive medications leading up to it. The entire situation was very expensive. Healthy Paws made a painful situation much less so. I had a number of claims that were always responded to without hesitation or discussion. Claims have always been settled in an amazingly prompt fashion. I could not recommend them more highly. I am happy to report that my dog has made a full recovery & I am very grateful to Happy Paws.

This Company Is A Blessing!

I am a very insurance oriented person but I've never thought much about having insurance for an animal other than my show horses, however when I found Healthy Paws I decided to get the insurance for my pup, "Tucker". It truly has been a blessing for me. The company communicates effectively and this is so important. The staff kept me informed on how the claim was proceeding via email. I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Healthy Paws and everyone should have this insurance because just like us, we never know when our pets will get sick or injured. Thank you so much, "Healthy Paws".

An absolute life saver

My dog was diagnosed with 2 mast cell tumors and needed surgery by a specialist. At a time when I was completely stressed emotionally and worried about the cost, Healthy Paws came through and did exactly what they said they would do. They covered 90% if the bills minus my deductible and exam fees. I never wanted to have to make decisions for my dog's health based on money and with Healthy Paws, I didn't have to. It was truly a life saver and I will recommend Healthy Paws to family and friends.

Healthy Paws Was There...

My beloved 10 month old indoor only calico kitten Juniper unexpectedly developed pyometra, an infection of the uterus that can quickly become systemic and fatal. She had not been spayed yet because anesthesia is a risk given that she has a heart murmur that her vet hopes she will outgrow. Although she hadn't eaten breakfast, she was still playing the morning she went to our neighborhood vet however she was in actuality, seriously ill and was referred immediately to a nearby emergency veterinary hospital - time was of the essence. At the emergency vet she was treated by a board certified veterinary surgeon who performed an emergency spay and was able to monitor her heart closely during the operation and clear up her internal infection. She got through the surgery very successfully and recovered in ICU for almost 2 days and is fine now - back to playing with her toy mice and her 4 legged pal Loki. Her bill from this emergency vet visit was almost $3000 which Healthy Paws paid a majority of (at 90% coverage) minus my $250 deductible. I had only signed Juniper up 2 months before so honestly I am still astounded at the coverage and also the high service level and diligence of Healthy Paws in their ongoing communication with the emergency vet team and me in getting coverage details and payment authorized so that Juniper's surgery could proceed. Paying up front is done in a case by case basis but was a life saver in this emergency case. The follow up from Healthy Paws has been com

1 year pup broke his leg

After our pup broke his leg and was in severe pain we wanted to get him care right away. We went to our local vet. He performed the exam and the X-rays. Confirmed the fracture and then recommended that we take our pup to a speciality orthopedist. Boy was I scared. For both my pup and my wallet. Well we received great care from all. I am so thankful I decided to take out insurance on our pup as soon as we got him. The total bill from both places added up to over $1800. Within three days over a holiday weekend I received confirmation that my claims were bring processed. The checks will total about $1300. We still have done follow up care too that will be covered. I don't know what I would have done without Healthy Paws. I cannot recommend them enough.
