Couldn't be happier!

Healthy Paws insurance is outstanding! I've had other pet insurance in the past and cannot say enough about how impressed I am with Healthy Paws. I submit my claims via facsimile around 7:30am and, within four hours, receive confirmation that the claim is processed and reimbursement is on the way. It happens every time I submit a claim, yet I still can't believe the prompt response.Their rates are reasonable and coverage is excellent. The customer service this company provides also outshines other companies and vastly exceeds expectations. A few days after my dog's surgery, I received a personal email inquiring about how she is feeling. The personal touch is so unlike a cold, uncaring insurance company. I recommend Healthy Paws to everyone I come in contact with at the various veterinary facilities I've had to visit lately. I could not be happier with Healthy Paws!

Such a caring company AND they reimbursed me!

My boxer Kage has been nothing less than an athlete his whole life, tip top shape. He turned 11 this year and still was bouncing and full of life. I thought pet insurance would be a good idea in case something happens to him like the large kidney stone he got in October last year. I looked on THIS website for about an hour and came to the conclusion that Healthy Paws had WAY more satisfied customers than all the other insurances that I checked out. In April I got him covered for $60 a month. Everything went well but I noticed that he was walking weird and slower about the middle of June, didn't want to get up anymore in the morning, even when I called him. This got worse VERY quickly, to the point where he was sliding all over the floor and randomly falling over. I took him to the vet and ran many extensive tests and turned out he had a brain tumor. Within days he got so bad to the point where I had to put him down, the tumor was inoperable. This was the most difficult thing I ever had to experience. A few days later I contacted Healthy Paws. They were very sympathetic for my loss. Being this was his first claim they needed all of his previous records, I said he had about 6 vets in the past, Healthy Paws offered to contact all of them and handle the paperwork for me to help me out in this sad time. Next they sent me such a nice card filled with everyone's written sympathies from their office... this was so sweet and unexpected, it was so above and beyond what I expected.

Great Experience

I have nothing but good things to say about Healthy Paws. My claim was processed within hours of them receiving the bills and I had the reimbursement check in my hands within a week. The customer service was outstanding. I received a personalized follow-up e-mail, which I thought was a very nice gesture. When I realized that I did not receive a check for a balance from my primary vet, I e-mailed them to see if they received anything and when I got the response to the e-mail, they had already called and requested what was needed from my vet as well as processed the claim. Great company !!

Healthy Paws is awesome!!

I have has healthy paws on my first dog for 2 years and recently added a new "family member" on as well. Their customer service is awesome- so friendly and efficient. They really do care about their customers. The turn around is very fast for filing claims and usually have reimbursement within just a few days. My favorite part of healthy paws is that now some alternative treatments are covered which gives you many options previously not available. This has really helped out since my 4 yr old "Zoey" was injured back in December and has had ongoing physical therapy and chiropractic care to recover. When I called a few months ago to add my new baby "Dexter", who came with a bit of medical baggage- healthy paws was right there to make sure I understood any exclusions and waiting periods on the new policy. They not only sent a written explanation, but followed up with a phone call to make sure I did not have any questions. I wish healthy paws covered people!!

Saved because we had healthy paws!

We were so devastated when we had to take voodoo in for an appointment and then it led to emergency stomach surgery... Even more so when we found how much we had to spend to save her life!!!! We are so incredibly thankful for you all at healthy paws thank you so much for your prompt service and right before a holiday too! We cried when she came home today and cried again when we saw the reimbursement email out of relief. Thank you thank you!!! I sent the claims form by email the day before July 4th and received an email back with the reimbursement amount within two hours, that is incredible!
