Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My 1 year old german shorthaired pointer had to have surgery to remove a rock that he had eaten. I had only had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for a few months and was not sure what to expect. I quickly found that there was no need to be concerned! After submitting all the required information for my claim, Healthy Paws did exactly what they said they would do! Not only did they reimburse me, they followed up and asked how my dog was doing! I am so impressed with their customer service. Everyone has been wonderful, whether on the phone or by email. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance!

Healthy Paws has been an excellent insurance provider for my furry family members. They have paid out quickly, checked in with phone calls and emails as to my pets' recoveries and returned my calls and emails in a prompt fashion. I highly recommend this company.

My Black Lab, Happy has arthritis, which was pre-existing when I bought his Happy Paws policy. However, he discovered a T-Bone steak bone from goodness knows where, and being the carnivore that he is, must have made quick work of it because when I found him he only had a nubbin left. Some of the sharp pieces must have cut his gut, because when I took him to the Vet he had some hemorrhagic diarrhea. It was touch and go for a while, but Dr. Hunt of University Animal Hospital in Greensboro,NC pulled him through. The insurance paid 70% with no hassles. Just my luck, we hadn't put a dent in the deductible, but the remittance was still substantial. Fast turnaround, no lawsuits threatened, just a genuine interest in Happy's health! It just doesn't get any better than this!

Healthy Paws is the best pet insurance I have ever had or heard about. My veterinarian was so impressed with the help and care they gave me that she called them to get brochures for her clients. They were not only speedy with our monies. They were compassionate, caring, even checked in to see how he was. I could not recommend a pet insurance carrier any more.

Bodhi is a little 11 pound chihuahua mix that has had skin/allergy problems and then last summer he ate a pill at a friend's house and then just recently this fall had a seizure-type episode. He is the only dog I've ever had that needed so much care! He is also the only dog I ever thought to have pet insurance for because I never had such a small dog and that worried me. I did a lot of research to find the best pet insurance and I am so grateful for HealthyPaws! It's enough to be worrying about your pet never mind having to worry about being able to afford emergency pet services! I at least have the peace of mind with Healthy Paws, and I am surprised how pleasant they are since dealing with my own personal health insurance is not a pleasant ordeal. I always recommend Healthy Paws to my friends and I can share Bodhi's stories that have good endings. Bodhi is in good hands.
