Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My dog Bubu was diagnosed with an ACL tear in both knees. Thankfully he is insured with Healthly Paws. I did not have to worry about the cost of the surgery. Healthy Paws afforded me the easy of mind of only worrying about his health. They processed the claim quickly and although I have not received the check yet, I received notification that it will be mailed to me within 10 days. Sending them the claim and documentation was very easy. To top it all, they have sent emails asking me how is his doing and wishing him a quick recovery. I am so impressed with the company and will highly recommend them.

After my pet was admitted to the hospital, I contacted Healthy Paws to file a claim. Their staff was extremely professional and courteous in handling my claim. They even followed up after my pet came home to see how he was doing. They really care about you and your pet!! Outstanding!!

I am very thankful to have this insurance and I have recommended it to others. I selected this insurance in 2010, as the company I work for brokers this insurance plan. (www.fraservetacupuncture.com) The treatments have made all the difference in the world and the prompt turn around time for reimbursement by Healthy Paws for each claim submitted has been remarkable, it has not impacted my budget at all. I could not be happier with Healthy Paws. I work at an Animal Hospital and deal with all insurance companies on a daily basis. By far, Healthy Paws is the best. There is an extra fee your first month as a "start up cost." This frustrated me as the first month of my pet insurance was $70 for a healthy healthy German Sheppard. When I had a claim to process I forwarded over the vet records the same day they asked and they did not respond until 2 weeks later after I had emailed them to cancel my insurance.
