Excellent customer service and fast reimbursment

I was a little bit skeptical when I insured my dog with Healthy Paws but now,I am very happy that I chose them; In my first claim they approve my reimbursement just one day after they received all the documentation. The representatives were really kind and they answered all my questions regarding my claim very fast and kindly. Also a few days afters they just sent me an email to follow up the health of my dog; something that I really appreciated and that not even the clinic did. I really recommend this insurance because before I bought it I searched and compare many others companies and it was the more affordable and with better benefits, and now I could see that what they say in its website is true.

Excellent and Responsive Service

This is the first time we've ever had pet insurance. With the high bills we had caring for our last dog who died of cancer, we decided to purchase it for our goldendoodle. She got very sick right before Thanksgiving and ended up in the hospital in the middle of the night. Her decline was very rapid and we were shocked at how serious her condition had become. The easy claim filing and the unbelievably quick response from Healthy Paws was a relief. We were expecting a hassle like most insurance claims, but there was none and our claim (app. $2500) was processed within a week. We received the check a few days later. Also, their kind inquiries afterward about Sophie's health was much appreciated. We have already recommended Healthy Paws to friends and both the pet hospital and our vet asked for Healthy Paws information.

Excellent coverage - very prompt payment

My dog Ben has been with Healthy Paws since February, 2012. My experience with Healthy Paws has been just fantastic. He's 9 years old now; getting the up-front review of medical records to identify pre-existing conditions was really helpful. What I really appreciate as the months go by is how fast they review claims: we had a vet visit yesterday, the office faxed the claim form before we left, and today we received the Explanation of Benefits. The check will take a while to arrive, but knowing the numbers so promptly lets me budget accordingly. The premiums are very reasonable, too. I've dealt with other pet insurance companies who take weeks to process a claim. I recommend Healthy Paws to any pet owners I talk to!

Love Healthy Paws!

We have only had healthy paws for a few months when one of our dogs, Ruby, got a mass cell tumor. I wasn't worried about the cost to help her because we have Healthy Paws. Our plan is the $100 deductible and they pay 90% after that. Between the aspiration of the mass, the surgery to remove it, the lab testing the mass, and medications, our bill was over $400. They quickly reimbursed us over $300. We got the check from Healthy Paws in the mail before our credit card bill with Rubys surgery on it even came in the mail. We are very happy with Healthy Paws. They even email me to see how Ruby was doing after her surgery!

Healthy Paws saved my dog!!

My crazy dog figured out how to get under the house and in doing so herniated a disc in his back. He was unable to walk and go to the bathroom on his own. He ended up needing an emergency MRI and hemilaminectomy to remove the disc that was compressing his spinal cord. All this cost almost $7, 000. I would not have been able to help Diesel if I did not have healthy paws insurance. Diesel is doing great and recovering very well!  He is able to get up as well as go to the bathroom on his own now.  He is still a little wobbly on the right back leg, but we are so excited about his progress.   Thanks for the support!!
