Paws Up for Healthy Paws

I've had Healthy Paws insurance on Kaiya, my Shiba Inu, since she was two years old, and she's now five and a half. She had a tooth pulled shortly after we enrolled, and she's now in the process of rehabbing from a torn ACL. Healthy Paws has been awesome from start to finish. Not only do they cover her physical therapy and hydrotherapy on top of the surgery, they reimburse me in days, keep me apprised of my claim status in the interim and even check in to see how Kaiya's doing. I can't tell you how wonderful it felt when I met with my vet after her injury to be able to say "Whatever she needs, do it," knowing she was covered. I was beyond strssed about her health, and it was such a relief to know I could get her the care she needed without also stressing about money. Any dog I own from now on will be a Healthy Paws dog.

The Best of the Best

I did a lot of research and comparison before I bought pet insurance for our dog (Kiki) in 2010. If you are a pet parent like me who is searching for the best, Healthy Paws is the best of the best. They were the top then and they are still the top now. Our dog has elevated liver enzyme and was referred for further tests (ultrasound, x-ray, MRI). Results showed a tumor in her liver. The total cost of these tests alone are thousands of dollars! I did not even have to fill out a claim form because Healthy Paws has already a personalized form for Kiki. I took the claim form to the Vet Hospital for signature and I sent it with the bill to Healthy Paws. Within 24 hours, my claim was processed by outstanding claim staff and the following day, I was notified that the check was on its way. It is a very difficult time when your beloved pet is sick but it is comforting when you have an excellent and caring pet insurance on your side. Thank you, Healthy Paws, from the bottom of my heart. You deserve the highest rating and commendation. More power to all the staff of Healthy Paws.

Great Insurance and Fast Service!

Healthy Paws Insurance is great! Our Frenchton chased a cat across the yard and over a fence. On landing, she dislocated the ligament on her knee. She was also having breathing issues when she was asleep or over-exerted herself. She had surgery to fix knee and the vet also enlarged her nostrils and shortened her soft palate. She is doing great! Our claims were reviewed and paid very promptly. We will definitely be keeping our coverage!

Crucial to have as a responsible pet parent

I've had Healthy Paws for over a year now, for both our dogs. Our rescue pup had all the usual medical problems associated with abandoned pets so the vet visits were common the first 6 months. Thankfully Healthy Paws was there to cover every illness or accident he had. But our biggest relief came when our old Cocker Spaniel went lame due to a bad knee that needed immediate surgery. Without hesitation we took him in knowing Healthy Paws not only covered the surgical procedure, but the meds and, most importantly, all the post-op therapy he would need to recover and be able to use the leg again without difficulty. The costumer service was flawless and sympathetic to our pets' suffering, and were quick to issue each refund as the bills added up. Their follow-up inquiries after each of our pets' injuries were throughtful and very kind. Couldn't have hoped for a better insurance company to take care of our furry babies and we are grateful we found Healthy Paws to care for them as much as we do. The week our Cocker Spaniel went into surgery I must have recommended this company to a dozen pet parents while at the clinics, to include my best friend who was looking for a trustworthy pet insurance. Everyone who loves their pet need to have a form of insurance that will cover medical bills, because no pet should be put down simply because one isn't able to cover a surgery that could save them and prevent further pain.

Healthy Paws Is Great!

Healthy Paws's insurance coverage is great and also they have great and friendly staff too! I had a different pet insurance before, but I switched to Healthy Paws after a lot of research about 1 1/2 years ago. I have three Persian cats and one of them was diagnosed "Pyometra" and she had to do surgery, "ASAP".  I had to pay around $2,000 as a deposit and also after surgery I paid $2,000 more. Total 4,000! Well, I didn't expect any insurance company to reimburse me such a big amount, but I filed a claim just in case. Surprisingly Healthy paws emailed me a few days later and they said they would reimburse 90% of it! I could not believe it! Really?!!?! I am so glad to have Healthy Paws insurance! They do care about pets and they did exactly what they said they would. I will recommend it to all my friends and I want to say THANK YOU so much!
