Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Our 18 month old cat suddenly became listless and was having a problem with her hindquarters. As a result, we immediately took her to our vet for a series of tests. It was such a relief to know we had coverage for our two little cats even though we had never used it before. To my surprise & relief, not only did Healthy Paws promptly process all claims within days - but they paid us within a week. The emails from their company not only were quick & informative, but showed caring & compassion. It's obvious to me that the staff at Health Paws are also pet parents who love their animals as much as we do. I am absoutely thrilled with their customer service!

I cannot rave enough about Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. My dog had Pancreatitis (knock on wood). Pancreatitis can be a deadly infliction, I've had one of my dogs pass away from it a year ago. Rasputin had to be hospitalized, which was extremely expensive. The emergency vet was kind enough to fax my claim the same day. Healthy Paws immediately contacted me via email and helped me thru the claim process. During the days that followed, Healthy Paws kept me in the loop concerning the claim and actually showed concern and compassion for my dog. To wrap things up, I received prompt reimbursement for my claim. Thank you Healthy Paws!!

I have two dogs covered by Healthy Paws. Prior to enrolling them I thoroughly researched the top 10 pet insurance companies: premiums, deductibles, coverages, exceptions. Healthy Paws stood out - the best - from all other competitors. Several claims later, I could not be more pleased with my experiences with Healthy Paws. The speed with which claims are handled and the level of follow-up (messages inquiring about how my dogs are doing afterward) is exemplary.

I did a lot of research on pet insurance companies before I decided to go with Healthy Paws. The monthly premium is about $40, and it is the best $40 I've ever spent. You can read all the reviews and do all the research you want but until you actually use the insurance you have no idea what to expect. I have been so pleased with Healthy Paws the customer service is amazing, they respond to emails within an hour of sending, the claims process is easy and processed in a timely matter, coverage is exactly what they state they cover, there is absolutely no hidden BS. Honestly my Dog has better health insurance then I do!! LOL.My poor 9 month old Pug started having issues back in Aug after months of testing it was confirmed that her liver is not functioning properly. After everything was said & done I had racked up about $7,000 in vet bills. anyone who owns a pet knows it is very stressful when you have a sick animal. On top of it Healthy Paws always follows up to check and see how my Lucy Liu is recovering, that always makes me feel good. They really do care about the well being of your furry friend.
