the best. just sign up before something happens.

First ever insurance claim-Julie ended up with a piece of wood that caused some problems trying to pass. Multiple visits, x rays, meds, and an overnight at the emergency vet later my bills were over $2000. Everything except the exam fee, my deductible and 20% to be paid by me according to my plan was reimbursed as soon as I got all my records in. They even sent a follow up email to see how she was doing. The only thing is they won't cover any ear infections since she had one before I signed up, which I think is kind of lame

Great customer service !! Quick response

We have utilized our insurance very quickly after signing up. One situation was emergency surgery for our 6 month cheweenie. Very pleased with response. Healthy paws is quick to respond, easy to file claim and customer service people very friendly. After researching multiple companies could not be more pleased with this company.

Perfect

Every time we have a claim, our vet faxes in the form, and a check shows up before I even remember that I'm expecting a check. Our pup had surgery, and the process was seamless, and they even emailed just to see how he was doing, they're amazing.

LOVING IT!

So happy I cancelled my other pet insurance and went with Healthy Paws. Yes... I have to pay my BMD's pre existing conditions vet bills but that pales by comparison to the benefits we get with Healthy Paws. It's like night an day. No comparison. They are kind, efficient, don't mind answering questions, and very prompt with payment. No squabbling, no excuses, very straightforward. If you purchase a plan this is exactly what you get. They get 10 ********** from Molly and I both. Job well done folks.

No arguments, they deliver on what they promise.

Last February one of my dogs presented very alarming symptoms and was diagnosed with cancer. A month later she was dead and I still had medical bills to pay while dealing with the loss of one of my companions. I also had a healthy 7 year old Japanese Chin, but decided I wanted the piece of mind that comes with an insurance policy. It was difficult finding the right policy for a senior dog, and some companies wouldn't even offer a quote. I will start by saying Healthy Paws was NOT the cheapest quote, but that they answered all of my questions. When I called to speak with a real person, I was on hold for under 3 minutes each time. I scheduled the yearly vet visit for my dog in March 2013 and sent the findings and notes of that visit to H.P. and enrolled my dog with $250 ded/90% coinsurance. In August, my dog started coughing aggressively and I took her to the vet. She was prescribed antibiotics, cough suppressants and I was told she had a collapsing trachea (common in older snout-free dogs). I sent the bill and notes to Healthy Paws to go towards the deductible. I was already aware that the office visit is not included, and my responsibility to pay as the owner. I received an email stating they needed my dog's medical notes going back to when I adopted her at 8 weeks old. A series of calls and emails to the various offices she had seen in her life took around 30 minutes of my time, and then I sent all my documents to H.P. The next day my claim was processed and
