Great Customer Service

I bought Healthy Paws Insurance for my 4 year old boxer and have never been happier. While consulting with my vet about insurance, she said "you have a boxer, so YES, get the insurance." At that point, I began to shop around and landed with this company for coverage. This company is great because they will allow you to select the deductible you want and the percentage of coverage you desire. Whatever you select will determine your monthly rate. I pay about $50 a month for it and let me tell you - it's absolutely worth it! My dog is now 5.5yrs old and we have been through 2 surgeries using this insurance. Every time my claims were adjudicated quickly and I received 90% (minus my deductible) for the costs. If I did not understand why something was not reimbursed, it was always explained to me clearly and if something should have been covered but wasn't for some reason, it was corrected immediately. Their customer service is EXCELLENT. If you are considering pet insurance, definitely take a look at this company. I cannot tell you how much it has saved me financially as well as for piece of mind. I never worry about a $10,000 surgery because they are right there with you all the way. My boxer just got a tumor removed (very common in boxers) to the tune of $1,000 ($300 to diagnose, $700 for the surgery) and everything was covered (minus the vet's office fee, which they don't pay for). I can't say enough good about this company. Definitely consider them when do

Cancer surgery

Healthy paws always pays it's claims promptly. It is such a relief to not worry about getting the surgical treatment my dog Finn needed for the peripheral nerve sheath cancer on his leg and we are starting his radiation treatments soon.

Healthy Paws Insurance has given us peace of mind

I love Healthy Paws insurance! We have four terriers and cover them all. Recently the "good one" ingested a piece of chew toy, only we did not suspect he had eaten something because he is the "good one". There were trips to emergency clinic, vet office, specialists and ultrasound and surgery over 72 hours before discovering the problem followed by. three days in doggie ICU. All of this resulted in massive bills. Healthy Paws had multiple reimbursement checks to me in less than a week after filing the claims - which is so easy! We were incredibly grateful to not have to worry about the cost at the same time we were so worried about our little boy. The customer service folks are so nice and they even follow up just to check on him after paying the claims.

Wonderful service & company

These are great people!! We adopted a dog and different friends recommended pet insurance. We shopped around and went through the different reviews of pet insurance companies online. Healthy Paws had great reviews so we chose this company. Of course it's a big decision to pay just another monthly premium these days ... We had the same concern. We just thought it wise since our dog was not a puppy. We could not believe it when a short while later, our dog hurt her leg. Of course we took her to emergency care. Imagine our surprise when we submitted the bill and were promptly paid by Healthy Paws!' And add to that prompt processing, the people there sent caring follow up emails to check on our dog's progress in healing What great people!! I highly recommend this company!!

Great nsurance for the price

My chihuahua was diagnosed with stones in her bladder. The staff at Healthy Paws gave me fast & courteous answers to any questions I had. They follow up on her recovery, and best of all I received the reimbursement check within 1 week of submitting my claim. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws Insurance to all pet owners.
