EXCELLENT

Our goofy, 18-month old labradoodle, Wilbur, jumped our fence and was hit by a car. He had extensive injuries and required speciality care at a trauma center. His hind leg had to be amputated and he was in the pet hospital for a week. Fortunately, we had insurance that covered 80% of the almost 10K bill. During the crisis, we made decisions based on his health and quality of life--since we had the insurance, we thankfully never had to make decisions based on the cost of his care. Our reimbursement check came from Healthy Paws before our credit card statement! Easy claim to file. Our tri-pawd is doing amazing and we look forward to many years of love and fun with him!

Healthy Paws delivers what they promise!

My 1 year old boxer, Roxy, woke up one morning vomiting multiple times within a short time. We took her into the vet, an x-ray was done which revealed that she had swallowed a metal foreign object. The vet tried to remove it with a scope, however he was unsuccessful and Roxy had to have major surgery to remove it. She is recovering nicely, however the bill was almost $2K. We printed off the Healthy Paws claim form, and took it to our vet the day Roxy came home. They completed it and faxed it in. I received an e-mail from Healthy Paws the same day saying they needed more information to process the claim, my vet sent the information that day and I received another e-mail that day from them saying the claim was being processed and they would do their best to complete it within 10 business days. They kept their promise and I received a check in the mail about 2 weeks after the surgery. Our deductible was $200 and they paid 90% of the remaining balance less the exam fee just as they promised. They also have contacted us to see how Roxy is recovering. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing pet insurance. This definitely has made this experience less stressful for us. Roxy is doing well, and we only have a small portion of a large bill to pay ourselves.

Fantastic Service

I generally don't write reviews, but I have been so happy with Healthy Paws that I feel compelled to share a positive review. Over the past year and 1/2, my dog has had a two knee surgeries, and most recently a strange immune system reaction where ultimately, she ended up at an emergency referral hospital for emergency overnight treatment. Upon submitting my claims, Healthy Paws immediately reviewed the invoices, communicated with me that they had been received and reviewed, and within a week, I had my reimbursement checks for my claims. Their professionalism is admirable. After much research about pet insurance, I am very happy I decided to get a Healthy Paws policy. These two experiences with Healthy Paws gives me peace of mind.

Best Pet Insurance Out There!

After my first cat, who has several health issues, I vowed to always get pet insurance for any pet that walked through my door. When two young kittens showed up at my door, we started hunting for the best insurance we could find. We finally decided on Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. Until recently, we really haven't had to use Healthy Paws too much. The past couple of weeks, one of my 3 year old cats started having trouble with seizures and urine retention. After running several diagnostic tests, the vets were still stumped as to what the underlying issue could be. The bills were rapidly building and I kept thinking, "How on earth could we afford all this if we didn't have insurance?!" Every claim that we have submitted to Healthy Paws has been processed at lightning speed and they have covered the majority of the costs. It was amazing to be able to focus solely on what needed to be done for my cat instead of having to worry about the mounting bills. I'm happy to say that my cat has been slowly recovering and gets a little better every day. The customer service provided by Healthy Paws is unbelievable. The really are interested and invested in helping people and their pets. We are so glad that we have Healthy Paws and can rest easy knowing that if a crisis arises, we have Healthy Paws on our side.
