Healthy Paws gives quick response and payment
Our Pug had a very healthy life until this recent incident. It turned out to be very serious and he needed surgery to remove his gallbladder to save him. The days following the surgery he experienced one complication after another and was moved to an IC unit. He received the best care and we got to take him home. The claims were filed and we received confirmation within a day. They kept us informrd while waiting for our vet to send his health history. Within a couple days we received the checks in the mail. They are a company who has compassion for your pests with the upmost integrity. Truly refreshing, we highly recommend this insurance company, they have reasonable rates and excellent coverage.

Great Insurance company
I'm so grateful to be a member of Healthy Paws, and highly recommend them.
I had VPI for 8 years with my previous dog, when he was diagnosed with cancer I learned how most insurance companies work - they itemized the bills and never covered everything...with a limit on everything. The allowed amount in total, would have covered maybe 3 treatments.... In the first 6 weeks he needed one a week...then one every other week...then every 3 weeks and so on.
Very disappointing after paying in for 8 year. Soooo this time I did my research. It was actually the cancer clinic that mentioned a patient that had Healthy Paws, and they were the only patient that they knew of that had an insurance company with no limits.
I looked at their plan, compared it to all the rest, and they came out on top, so I signed up right away when I got my new puppy.
I'm so glad I did, because my puppy is only 9 months now, and unfortunately has elbow dysplasia.
After my $250 deductible - Healthly paws paid for 90% of the $600.00! worth of x rays.
I didn't want to rush into surgery, and the Vet agreed with me to try alternative methods of healing and restricted exercise for awhile first to see if the limping would stop.
I was so pleasantly surprised learn that Healthy Paws helped with lazor treatments as well, being in the holistic field myself this was great news! VPI did not cover any alternative modalities.
Unforunatly the second round of x-rays showed that the joint got worse, and we nee

Healthy Paws is the Best!
Healthy Paws is simply a wonderful insurance company. Our 3-year-old English Mastiff, Jeff, has had medical problem after medical problem -- skin, ear, and eye infections, tick-borne illness, kennel cough, giardia, you name it, he's had it. In the three years we've had him, there have only been a handful of months that we haven't ended up in the vet's office. The only saving grace through all this has been Healthy Paws. They've been there for us every time. Prompt. Friendly. Caring. Simply lovely. It's like working with a friend instead of a company. At one point, they even asked for a photo of Jeff so they could get to know him better. And, they are so efficient. Last Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, Jeff had to go back to see some specialists. Healthy Paws sent us a notice of reimbursement, which covered virtually everything, that night, hours after his visit. This company is truly amazing. I couldn't imagine going with another insurance company after working with Healthy Paws.

Great insurance!
My boy had a dumb accident (he decided to eat out of another dog's food bowl and the other dog wasn't keen on that thought) and got nailed on the top of the head. Long story short in one month he ended up going to 4 different vets, one ER visit, one 5 day ICU stay, one visit to have staples removed, another emergency visit for stitches, etc.
I was really afraid Healthy Paws would turn down the claim as it was complicated and kind of crazy. They didn't even blink an eye. They did call for confirmation of a question, but were very nice, kind, yet professional. They had the claim(s) paid within about 2 weeks. They paid over $1600 on a $2300 claim (less $500 deductible, office visit fees and a small preexisting condition which was a thyroid pill), I have a $500 deductible with 90% reimbursement.
