Outstanding customer service

I looked for an inclusive health policy for my pets, and after doing much research found Healthy Paws. Their customer service is top notch, and they respond quickly and processed my e-claim within one hour. Now, that is service! I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family, and sent my vet my comments as well. Great company.

I wish insurance for humans worked this well

My 8 month old Yorkiepoo developed a fracture in her left capitol physeal (top of femur) and required a FHO -Femoral Head Ostectomy. Pretty stressfull situation as everything happened so quick, but our insurance company "Healthy Paws" made this process so easy that I thought it was too good to be true. Thankfully the reimbursement process went exactly as described and I found myself slightly jealous of my pets insurance as compared to my own! Healthy Paws customer service is remarkable. To top it off, even after our reimbursement check arrived, we got a email from "Tim" at the company checking on how my pup was feeling!!! In my opinion, our Healthcare companies surely could borrow a page from Healthy Paws on how customer service should be experienced by the client. If I could rate this company an "11 out of 10" I would. I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with this insurance company. Highly recommend.

Outstanding!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has been outstanding in customer service, communication, and in their prompt payments. I spent weeks researching the different companies, as this was my first time purchasing pet insurance for my puppy and I wanted to make sure that I was covered for the more serious accidents and medical conditions that oftentimes plague a dog as they mature. I figured that I didn't need preventative meds or office visits reimbursed but, given my financial instability, I wanted to make sure that the 'unexpected' would be covered. Thankfully, I made the right choice. At 1 1/2 years old, my dog was diagnosed with torn cruciate of the hind legs. There are 3 different techniques to repair this injury, each technique having a different cost. I called Healthy Paws to ask them which technique they would cover, and I was told that they would cover whichever technique the vet and I would prefer. I knew then and there that I had made the right choice with Healthy Paws! She underwent surgery a little over a week ago. As I am currently unemployed and very low on funds, I faxed them my receipt for the surgery on Friday. I was stunned to receive a check from them the following Monday - 3 days! In addition, someone from Healthy Paws even contacted me via email to check to see how my dog was doing. When I responded to the email, I never dreamed that he would write back, but he did, reassuring me that the recuperation process would go quickly. How great is that! I

A Wonderful Surprise

This is my first time to have pet insurance although i have owned dogs my whole life. i recently bought a shitzu puppy and decided to get insurance. i researched on line and found Healthy Paws. It is the best thing i could ever do for me and my puppy. Healthy paws has been terrific as my baby had stomach issues and i had claims not long after getting the insurance. the customer service is excellent and they are open 7 days a week. you are emailed immiediately verifying they received your claim. you are emailed again with explanation of benefits and payment information. you receive the check really fast. they follow up with emails inquiring about your pet which is a really nice gesture. i am grateful i have this insurance and want to thank Healty Paws.

Never regretted my decision to get Healthy Paws!

I have been a client of Healthy Paws since 2011, and I have never once regretted my decision to go 1) get pet insurance for my dog and 2) to use Healthy Paws for coverage. I did extensive research before choosing them, and I've never thought twice about my decision. They have always been quick to respond claims and I've never had any problems or questions asked about if something qualifies to be covered. They also offer to review your pet's vet records within 30 days and give you a letter telling you what they will not cover (pre-existing conditions). Recently, my dog suffered from persistent vomiting that did not go away until after many tests and treatments. I took him to 3 different vets and he was checked and tested for everything you can think of when your dog won't stop throwing up. As it turns out, the third vet diagnosed him with Inflammatory Bowel Disease brought on by a food allergy. From all these trips to the vet, I filed 7 claims related to this one incident, and Health Paws processed the claims within hours of receiving them from the vet's office. I also had my checks within a week of the claim being processed. Healthy Paws is an all-around great company and I highly recommend them to anyone who will listen.
